Abstract

The skis and ski sticks are held by a pair of carriers for transportation and storage. One carrier (3) is fitted each end of the skis and each comprises and I-shaped body (4). At the top (12) are two semicircular recesses (12a, 12b), side by side. These are complemented by a similar cap (14), fitting over a central threaded stud (13). A captive nut (16, 17) tightens the cap onto the ski sticks (2). The lower part (4a) of the body has an extension flange (4b, 4c) each side forming a location for the skis (1), placed back to back. An elastic strap (11) is hooked (7, 8) over each flange to hold the skis.
