Abstract

A vehicle heating and ventilating system feeds the vacuum produced by the engine through a non-return valve and a reservoir through a distributor piece (5) to two vacuum valves (7, 8). The first of these has connections (10, 12, 15) to vacuum operated positioning motors (14, 11a, 11b) for a right hand fresh air damper. The second vacuum valve has a connection (17) to a water valve (18). There is also a connection (20, 19) between the two vacuum valves. The first vacuum valve (7) is put into one of three postions by a knob (22) on the dashboard which rotates a bar (24) to which the stem of the valve is connected. A second knob (23) rotates a bar (25) which is connected to the stem of the second valve (8).
