Abstract

The frame is for the rapid erection of ridge tents and consists of metal tubes which are hinged and locked in place by struts. The tubes slide telescopically and are held in place by clips. When not in use they slide together and fold up for storage. The tent is hung from the frame which is sufficient to support the tent without pegging it to the ground. The frame can be used with any ridge tent and the positioning of the clips can be variable to vary its dimensions.
