Abstract

The display table, e.g. for a synoptic display, is formed by a series of rectangular elements, each of which is open at one side. These elements are each stood on end and are fitted together by means of cooperating ribs and grooves formed along the four sides of each element. The base of each rectangular element is dimensioned so that there is no gap between the base and the sides and the bases are all formed as removable plates, which have guide elements and fixation means to allow them to be snap-fitted into place. Pref. each base plate has fixing pins which cooperate with apertures etc. formed in the sides of the element.
