Abstract

The electro-stato-graphic picture reproduction system has a picture code signal automatically regulated by a control means. This is applied to a cell including a liquid crystal photoconductor. The optical system includes a lens (14) and a fibre optic device, to focus the optical arrangement on to a photoreceptor (16). The latter is charged by a corona charge device (27). Documents are fed through a feed point (21) along a supply track (19) in a horizonal plane to a collector chute (22). The control unit (20) transmits signals to and from the coding device (11) connected to the picture tube (12).
