Abstract

The suspension filing system uses a document holder made initially from a single sheet, folded over double and first of all a reinforcing strip is stuck along one edge. Before folding, this reinforced edge is then cut out with one notch in the middle, coinciding with the fold line, and a shallower recess at one corner, top and bottom. After folding, the first notch enables the contents to be more easily lifted from below, and the corner cut outs are provided to give a clearance from the support rails after suspension hooks have been fitted. A marking device can be mounted down one edge between the top corner cut out and the bottom cut out.
