Abstract

The vehicle is as in the parent patent, having the two motored axles (27) (22) driven in synchronism by two chains (16b) (16a) and a pinion keyed to each shaft and chain pinions (41) (42) on a shaft (40) between the two axles. This shaft is placed equidistant between the two shafts so that the chains are of equal length. The vehicle also has additional floats and these are rigid and water tight. As a variation, the floats can be inflatable, easily stowed when deflated. Similar floats may be placed at the front and at the rear of the vehicle, these are inflatable type. Paddles may be fitted to the wheels to improve propulsion in water.
