Abstract

The spectacle retention device has a clip fixed to each arm and an elastic part which goes behind the ears. The body (1) is fixed to the arm (2) by a tightening device (3) e.g. a screw or eccentric. The body (1) is a clip to which the elastic part (4) is attached. Part of the clip carries a slot or recess in which the spectacle arm is fixed, the other part of the clip being articulated to the bottom of the first part and kept against it by a spring. The clip may have an internal coating of elastic material which keeps it on the arm by elastic tightening of the arm in the material.
