Abstract

Ducted warm air heating installations are normally controlled from a central thermostat and dampers to control the airflow to individual rooms. The present system incorporates an electric booster heater to each room. This heater is controlled by a room thermostat so that room temperatures can be separately and automatically achieved. The diffuser receives air from a circular duct which feeds it to a transition piece (4) to a rectangular diffuser (1). The electrical heating element (8) is slotted into the diffuser (12) and controlled by a thermostat (7). The control box (6) is sealed. The electrical element may be easily removed.
