Abstract

The box is made from plastic in two parts (2, 5), joined together by a hinge (1). The base (2) has three ribs (3), arranged radially about its centre, which act as stiffeners. When the cover (5) is folded over, it is held in place by three lugs (4, 4', 4") disposed at regular intervals around the base. Stops (6, 6', 6") are also provided around the periphery of the base. These butt against the cover (5), preventing complete closure and leaving an air gap for ventilation. Other stops (8, 8', 8") position the cheese. The cover (5) has a fluted profile (10) for stiffening purposes and a central ventilation hole (7). A side cutout (9') gives a hold for easy opening.
