Abstract
Electronic device varies electric power in a continuous fashion by means of phase variation control. Between the input voltage terminals but after the load are two branches comprising, respectively, a phase shifting network and a triac (6). The two branches are connected to each other via a diac (13) through the triac (6). The phase displacement network has a lower branch (3) connecting to an input terminal (2) and the anode (5) of the triac, an upper branch (4) a capacitor (9), a resistance (10) a rheostat (11) and a switch (12). The diac connects the point between the capacitor (9) and the resistance (10) to the trigger (14) of the triac (6).
