Cl, Br) are stabilised by adding 0.1 to 10% of (a) hydroxyanthraquinones opt. substd. by 1-4 Me, halogen, NO2, -OMe, -OEt, MeCO2- benzoyloxy, (b) hydroxyanthraquinones substd. by 1-4 NH2, MeNH-, EtNH-, Me2N-, Et2N- anilino, toluidino, anisidino, and opt. 1-3 halogen; NO2; phenylthio, alkylthio; benzylthio; phenyl opt. substd. by 1 or 2 halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, OH; Phenoxy opt. substd. by 1 or 2 halogen, phenyl, alkyl(thio); (c) anthraquinones substd. by 1-4 NH2, MeNH-, EtNH-, Me2N-, Et2N-, anthraquinonylamino, anilino, toluidino anisidino, and opt. by 1-4 halogen; alkyl; alkoxy, phenyl opt. substd. by 1-2 halogen, alkyl; phenoxy opt. substd. by 1 or 2 halogen, alkyl; and (d) cpds. comprising 1-3 anthraquinone nuclei condensed with 1 or 2 pyrrole, pyrimidine, pyridine or N,N'-dihydropyrazine rings; the condensed cpd. opt. substd. by 1-3 alkyl, phenyl, OH, halogen.
