Abstract

Dielectric material of zero temp. coefft of permittivity is obtd. by mixing >=2 phases of positive and negative temp. coeffts. in such a manner that the variation of dielectric constant of one phase for any given temp. change compensates for the variation of dielectric const. of the other phase(s). Specif. this is effected using Pb3MNb2O9 and Pb3MTa2O9 when M is Ni, Mg or Co, as the two phases.
