Abstract

The liquid foam is a mixture of a hydroxyl cpd. and an isocyanate and is applied at low pressure and uniform velocity to the surface of the object. The object is moved upwards at a uniform speed through a distributo head designed to fit the outer girth of the object. The lower part of the head is sealed against leakage of the liquid downwards. The foam is finally hardened.
