Abstract
Catalyst support comprises a sheath of metallic: textile material a sub layer of metallic coating and a superficial coating impregnated with a post combustion catalyst. The base metal is pref. stainless steel and is covered with nickel chromium alloy or nickel aluminide together with a top layer of lime stabilised zirconium. Used for improving combustion of the oxides of C in automobiles.
