Portland cement comprising 30-50% finely ground furnace slag and 70-50% Portland clinker contg. is not >8% 3 CaO.Al2O3 with added gypsum is produced using a high furnace slag contg. is not >6% al2O3 and a Portland clinker contg. is not >55% 3CaO.SiO2 by grinding the clinker so that 30-50% are retained on an 80 mu mesh and milling these grains with the slag and gypsum until a specific surface of 3500-4000 cm2/g is obtained. Used in reinforced concrete.
