Abstract

An antenna arrangement for tracking moving targets, forming part of a panoramic radar system, has antennas which rotate about a vertical axis and including an antenna with a number of paraboloidal mirrors superimposed, each having a known number of defocussed primary sources connected to a wave guide via a selector, frequency changing and preamplification channels, phase shift units, amplification and delay channels, rapid switches and an indicator. Low loss cables for equal length and a rotary joint connect the distributors to the signal processing units.
