The invention relates to the connection of wall or ceiling elements according to the preamble 5 of claim 1.
Such wall elements have the advantage in particular of easier installation, since the snap connection pre-locks the wall or ceiling elements to be connected.
10 In the insulation panel according to DE utility model 81 08 886, the fact that the outdoor seal is immediately exposed to the weather is considered to be an improvement. As a result, as the seal becomes brittle, the sealing effect is reduced. The movements of the panels in the longitudinal and transverse planes due to wind and temperature effects cause the sealing area to open up, i.e. the sealing effect is reduced. In the event of a fire, the longitudinal mass opens easily and the immediate destruction of the heat-stressed seal results. The seal is a special profile. Its color must otherwise be adapted to the appearance of the respective panel, in which case the optimal properties of highly weather-resistant black sealing materials cannot be exploited in the manufacture of the panel.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a joint for wall or ceiling elements in which the sealing effect with respect to the effects of the environment and possibly also in the event of fire is guaranteed and which allows the use of simpler, optimally effective sealing materials while improving joint stability.
According to the invention, in order to solve this problem, it is proposed that g) the seals are fitted in the additional grooves of the groove end surface and the projections of the spring end surface compress these seals, 2 77294 h) all the groove-spring connections are provided by a metal frame.
Thus, the seals are protected from the immediate effects of the environment and fire, and a high level of protection against opening of the joint is achieved. Simple, highly weather-resistant seals can be used and specifically regardless of the appearance of the element used in each case. The very high stability of the longitudinal joint is achieved in that the longitudinal edges form four 10 metal-framed groove-spring joints.
For the sealing effect, due to the increased surface compression, in the case of small compression agents, it is particularly advantageous if, according to a further feature of the invention, the projections of the spring end surface are formed as a sealing edge in the form of a cutting blade.
The stability of the joint is further improved if the sealing edge is formed from the 180 ° bent ends of the cover layer and overlaps the joint.
Suitably, the cross-section 20 of the additional grooves is circular and that the ends of the cover layer forming the additional grooves are hooked backwards.
Due to the fact that the groove-spring connection I forms a lip in which the cam delimited by the groove end surface of the first wall or roof element resiliently fits into the indentation formed to provide the spring of the second wall or roof element, the installation layer is simply ensured in a simple manner. and seal compression.

The invention will now be explained by means of schematically 5 exemplary embodiments. Reference is made to the accompanying drawing, in which Figure 1 shows a cross-section of a longitudinal joint on an enlarged scale, and Figure 2 shows a corresponding cross-section of an embodiment with a mounting plate.
According to Fig. 1, the wall element has an upper cover layer 1, a lower cover layer 2 and cellular plasticity 3. The longitudinal edge 4 of the groove end surface 5 and the longitudinal edge 6 of the spring end surface 7 are formed as a snap joint 8, 15 with a cam 9 and a retaining groove 10.

When joining the elements, springs 21 are pushed on the surfaces of the sealing edges 17 along the cam 9 into the groove 5 20.
