The invention relates to a window structure comprising a glass pane, preferably a thermal pane and a frame for attaching a frame, and a sealing member arranged between the frame and the frame for severing a cold bridge therebetween, the frame comprising a body portion and a circumferentially projecting portion thereof. with said protruding portion extending towards the glass pane perpendicularly thereto.
Window structures of this type are already known per se. For example, Finnish Patent Publication No. 45896 discloses a similar window structure. However, the disadvantage here is that the seal between the frame and the frame remains completely unprotected, so if the window is made openable, it is likely to be damaged relatively soon, at least at the lower edge of the frame, allowing rainwater to easily enter.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a window structure which places less demands on the dimensioning and dimensional accuracy between the frame and the frame and which emits more light than hitherto known structures when the dimensions of the frame otherwise correspond to each other. It is a further object to provide a structure in which the seal between the frame and the frame is effectively protected and which prevents the formation of a cold bridge between the frame and the frame. In addition, it is intended to provide a window structure which is very well suited for use in the so-called as a basic repair window when renovating old window structures, so that the old frame can be easily utilized with a small addition and modification and the window receives even more light than before.
The invention is mainly characterized in that the protruding part of the frame does not extend into contact with the frame or the frame and that the sealing member is mounted radially outside and substantially separate from the protruding part, being in a space bounded by the frame-facing surface and the frame body surface. , which faces said surface of the frame.
This has the advantage that the mutual dimensions of the frame and the frame do not have to be unnecessarily precise and in addition the risk of the frame getting stuck is reduced. In addition, the sealing member between the frame and the frame is well protected from damage. In addition, the frame is located completely outside the light opening of the frame, whereby the dimension of the window opening corresponds to the dimension of the opening of the frame. Furthermore, the protruding part together with the seal forms an effective barrier to the formation of a cold bridge between the frame and the frame.
According to the invention, the protruding part can be a separate cover strip, preferably made of mold, the side facing the window opening being planar. This allows parts of old frames to be utilized when replacing old window structures with new ones.
According to the invention, the protruding part can be made in one piece with the body part, whereby the structure becomes very simple.
Furthermore, according to the invention, the cover strip can be such that it can be fastened to the body part by means of a quick fastening and possibly by means of a fastening pin, whereby the installation of the cover strip becomes easier. -
Furthermore, according to the invention, the cover strip and the sealing member can be connected to each other and substantially perpendicular to each other.
This means that the cover strip and the sealing member can be easily inserted and removed together.
According to a very suitable embodiment, the cover strip can be provided with a flange arranged against the outer side of the body part.
According to the invention, the sealing member can be located on a flange to which it is preferably attached by means of a dovetail connection, whereby the cover strip and the installation of the sealing member become particularly simple.
According to the invention, the sealing member can otherwise be located on the outer side of the body part, which, in particular when the body part and the protruding part are in one piece, provides a very simple structure.
According to the invention, an auxiliary profile can be placed between the protruding part and the body part or only in the recess formed by them. As a result, condensation water does not enter the body part to cause moisture and frost damage, so that the body part is protected in such a way that the maintenance costs caused by repainting are saved.

According to the invention, said auxiliary profile may be substantially Z-shaped in cross-section, the second prong and the central part being against the body part, the second prong partially covering the frame, whereby the sealing member may still be attached to the central part. In this way, the body part is made particularly well covered.
Furthermore, according to the invention, a part of the auxiliary profile, preferably the middle part and / or the second fork at the bottom of the frame, can form a window baseboard, this being in a simple way related to the window structure.
Another embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the distance between the window pane and the protruding part is of the order of 5 mm, that a suitable air space is left between the frame and the protruding part, and that the frame and / or frame part is provided with slots and / or openings. in connection with the open air. According to the invention, the distance between the screen and the protruding part can be chosen so large that it can accommodate a locking member.

According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the cover strip in the lowest horizontal frame part can extend over the inner side of the frame part, whereby it is shaped to conduct warm air from a possible heating device under the window structure to the bottom of the screen. This ensures particularly good ventilation at the back of the screen.

The window structure shown in Figure 1 comprises a thermal glass window with two glass sheets 1 and 2 suitably arranged in a wooden frame 3. Part of this frame goes into a recess or groove 5 »formed in the frame 4, which is more suitably radially outward than the frame. protruding part 6.
The protruding part 6 of the frame, which extends substantially perpendicular to the frame and whose depth is such that it extends over the entire width of the opening of the frame, is in the same embodiment as the frame body 7 in the embodiment shown in Fig. 1. In the embodiment of the window structure shown in Fig. 2, the frame 3 is formed by a separate metal profile provided with openings 9 to 10 for the removal of condensation water. The protruding part here is formed by a cover plate 11, which partially covers the body part 7 and is of a suitable material, e.g. plastic. The cover plate 11 is shaped in such a way that channels 12 remain between it and the body part 7, through which the ventilation air enters the space behind the glass. Furthermore, the cover plate 11 is fixed to the body part 7 by means not shown in the drawing, so that the cover plate 11 can be moved, whereby the ventilation can be regulated. The embodiment of the window structure shown in Fig. 3 has a frame 3 »made of metal, with a main Z-shape in cross section. Auxiliary profile 13 »is arranged here between the protruding part 11 and the body part 7, the cross section of which is also Z-shaped. In Fig. 4, the cover plate 11 is provided with a downwardly extending flange 23 arranged against the outer side of the body part 7.
The inner end 24 of the plate is arranged to conduct warm air from a possible heating device located under the window, the end extending over the inner side of the body part. A plurality of dashed openings 30 are provided in the flange 23 for ventilation. The sealing member 8 is here attached to the projecting flange 23.
Figure 5 shows the protruding part in the same piece as the body part 7. Another embodiment of the Z-shaped auxiliary profile 25 is arranged in the body part 7, whereby the second jaw 26 of the profile extends between the frame and the body part 7 and the central part 27 and the second jaw 28 of the profile extend downwards from the frame 3 to form a baseboard 29.
The cover plate 11 can also be integral with the auxiliary profile 25 (Fig. 6).
The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but may vary in many different ways within the scope of the invention. Thus, the sealing member 8 can, for example, be fastened directly to the cover plate 11 (Fig. 7). · Furthermore, the body part 7 itself can be provided with air ducts.
