CONSISTE EN LA APLICACION, IN SITU, A DICHO CATALIZADOR PROMOVIDO CON CO-METALES COMO MOLIBDENO Y ZINC, DE ESTERES DE ALQUILO DE ACIDO FOSFORICO, DE FORMULA (RO)3PO, EN LA QUE R ES HIDROGENO O UN GRUPO ALQUILO QUE TIENE 1 A 4 ATOMOS DE CARBONO, SIENDO AL MENOS UNO DE LOS GRUPOS R UN RADICAL ALQUILO, Y AGUA EN CANTIDAD DE 0,001 A 50% EN PESO DE LA CORRIENTE DE ALIMENTACION DEL CATALIZADOR. TIENE APLICACIONES PARA LA REACTIVACION DEL CATALIZADOR EMPLEADO EN LA PRODUCCION DE ANHIDRIDO MALEICO MEDIANTE OXIDACION DE BUTANO.
