Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an oily composition of antitumor substance effective for the remedy of various tumors, by compounding a water-soluble or hardly oil- soluble antitumor substance with oil or fat and an oil-solubilizing assistant selected from crown ether, lecithin, polyethylene glycol, etc. CONSTITUTION:An oily composition of antitumor substance is prepared by compounding (A) a water-soluble or hardly oil-soluble antitumor substance (e.g. carmofur, fluorouracil, mitomycin C, etc.), (B) an oil or fat (e.g. highly iodized oil, iodized oil, linoleic acid, etc.) and (C) one or more oil-solubilizing assistants selected from the group of crown ether, lecithin, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, vitamin E, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, and sucrose fatty acid ester (having an HLB of <=10). The amount of the component (C) is 0.5-1,000pts., preferably 1-100pts. per 1pt. of the component (A).
