Abstract

METHOD FOR FORMING A SEAMLESS MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY LAYER ON THE INTERNAL SURFACE OF A METALLURGICAL CONTAINER. INSIDE THE CONTAINER IS A MOLD WHOSE EXTERNAL SURFACE IS ADAPTED TO THE INTERNAL CONTAINER IN ORDER TO CONSTITUTE A UNIFORM SPACE BETWEEN BOTH SURFACES. THIS SPACE IS FILLED WITH A MIXTURE OF DRY PARTICLES, WITH AT LEAST 70% BY WEIGHT OF REFRACTORY INERT MATERIAL AND AT LEAST 0.5% BY WEIGHT OF THERMO-CURE RESINS. FINALLY THE MIX IS HEATED TO HARDEN THE RESIN AND THE MOLD IS MADE.
