Abstract
Improvements introduced in the percussion system for firearms, in which a releasing swingarm that retains the firing pin and is housed on the mechanism guide rests on a square bracket operable by a trigger and retained in its rest position by force of spring, the trigger being a double arm lever mounted on the lower part of the rifle that closes with a mechanism holder, whose lever ends on one side at the curved end of the trigger, effecting the release of the firing pin when pressed against the curved end of the trigger until beyond the point of pressure, characterized in that the trigger extends essentially vertically or approximately vertically with respect to the axis of the barrel; that the mass of the curved end of the trigger is equal to or smaller than that of the lever arm located on the opposite side of the housing; that said lever arm is playfully connected through a displaceable seat with another lever mounted on one side of the mechanism guide; that the mass of the lever arm and the lever is approximately equal and that the angle bracket is in the form of an angular lever mounted in the vicinity of the trigger housing, of which one arm is arranged parallel to the trigger.
