Abstract
PROCESS FOR OBTAINING SOLID BODIES BY PRESSING DUST AT HIGH TEMPERATURE IN A MOLD, CHARACTERIZED BY PERFORMING THOSE BETWEEN TOP AND VEGETABLE PLUGS PLACED VERTICALLY, AND BY ADJUSTING MEANS FOR HOLDING THE MOLD FROM ONE OF THE PADS BEFORE THE COMPRESSION OPERATION AND initially during it; the aforementioned mold can be separated from the supporting means after the application of initial pressure sufficient to compact the powder in the mold, in such a way that the mold is sustained after the release of said means, by friction with the compressed powder; both tampers can then move with respect to the mold, during the greater part remaining of the compression operation.
