The invention relates to a roll-up door with a door leaf that moves between an opening position, in which at least partially releases a wall opening and forms a multi-layer roll above the wall opening, and a closing position, in which the wall opening at least partially closes, and joint arrangements for guiding the movement of the door leaf, which are arranged in the area of the side edges of the door leaf running in the position They are closed at least partially in the direction of gravity and are fixed to the door leaf, each of the joint arrangements having a plurality of articulation elements joined together in an articulated manner with respect to articulated axes running perpendicular to the edges lateral and almost parallel to the plane of the door leaf.

This type of roller doors is described, for example, in DE 10 2009 017 767 A1. They are used, among others, as so-called fast-acting doors to close industrial buildings. On the one hand, it is important that the movement of the door leaf be guided safely. On the other hand, it is important that there is often little space available to accommodate the door leaf in the open position. In view of these requirements, a roll-up door is already proposed in the aforementioned document in which at least one joint arrangement has at least one articulated plate placed and fixed on a front surface that runs practically perpendicular to the axis of articulation of an element of rigid door leaf made, for example, as a sandwich element. In this way, the arrangement of joints makes it possible to avoid an increase in the thickness of the entire structure and reduce the space necessary for the rolling doors in the opening position. However, it has been shown that the corresponding doors still require considerable space and the speed of movement of the door leaf is limited.

Doors according to the preamble of claim 1 are indicated in DE 10236648 A1 and DE 20320336 U1.

Due to these problems in the state of the art, the objective of the invention is to make available a roll-up door that can be stored taking up little space in the opening position and allows a high opening or closing speed, simultaneously ensuring reliable guidance. of the movement of the door leaf.

This objective is achieved according to the invention by perfecting the known doors indicated in the characterizing part of claim 1.

The realization of the door leaf at least partially of flexible material allows to reduce the necessary space because the material adapts itself to the roll that is formed in the opening position and thus allows a reduced spiral diameter in the position of opening. Simultaneously, a robust door leaf is made using the door leaf stabilization devices. The guidance of the door leaf takes place with the aid of the articulation elements of the joint arrangements coupled to the stabilization devices, thanks to which the tensile and thrust forces that are generated during the movement of the leaf Door can be transmitted through the provisions of joints. The door leaf can be made correspondingly simple. Care should only be taken that the door leaf stabilization devices are securely coupled to the articulation elements of the joint arrangements.

As usual soft material for the manufacture of the doors according to the invention, polycarbonate and / or PVC, preferably transparent, can be used. The thickness of the plastic membrane is chosen according to the requirements. In any case, by using the flexible material in the form of a plastic sheet or membrane, an adaptation of the shape of the door leaf to the spiral shape in the opening position can be ensured by ensuring a reduced roll radius.

In particular, polycarbonate has demonstrated its effectiveness as a material with excellent properties for use in doors according to the invention. The material has high elasticity and sufficient flexural strength to follow the contour of the roll even in the case of large widths. In addition, the material has other positive properties, such as high impact resistance.

By means of the roll-up doors according to the invention, the advantages of a roll-up door structure with rigid slats and lateral joint arrangements are thus combined with the advantages of the membrane doors to make available a fast-acting door that allows an opening speed. and high closing, thanks to the flexible structure of the door leaf, and simultaneously makes available reliable guidance thanks to the articulation arrangements and a discharge of the door leaf thanks to the transmission of thrust or traction forces through joint arrangements. The connection of the door leaf to the articulation arrangements can be carried out in a particularly stable manner because for this purpose the stabilization devices provided per se can be used to avoid deformations under wind load. The stabilization devices form a flex-resistant frame for the flexible door leaf in combination with the joint arrangements.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the door leaf has a segment (hereinafter also called "plate") preferably composed of transparent and flexible material with segment or plate edges running approximately perpendicular to the lateral edges of the door leaf, the segment or plate edges being provided with a thickening and at least one stabilization device having a stabilization profile with at least one housing area to accommodate the thickening on a segment or plate edge. The stabilization profile preferably extends along the entire width of the door leaf in a direction that runs perpendicular to the side edges of the door leaf, the housing area also extending conveniently along the entire width. of the door leaf. Additionally or alternatively, at least one segment edge can be made without thickening and be held together by joining materials and / or dragging force, for example, by means of a fastening strip to the stabilization device.

The stabilization profile can be realized, for example, as an extruded plastic profile. However, in a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the stabilization profile is realized as an extruded aluminum profile. An extruded aluminum profile of this type combines high strength and reduced weight.

The thickening of the segment or plate edges can be carried out by means of glued or welded edging strips, which are housed in a form drag in the respective housing areas of the stabilization profiles. At the same time, other joining possibilities are also considered, for example, by means of a fastening strip, in order to easily change the flexible or flexible segments in the mounted state.

In the case of the rolling doors according to the invention, the door leaf is only connected to the arrangement of joints, which can be made, for example, as a hinge band, through the stabilization profiles that also serve as stiffeners against the wind. The intermediate hinge points of the joint arrangement or the hinge band are not attached to the flexible material. The hinge band or joint arrangement absorbs the thrust and traction forces during the opening and closing movement. The joining of the stabilization profiles or stiffeners against the wind to the hinge band can be carried out in the desired manner according to the pattern of the hinge points. In this way it is possible to make different plate heights. In the case of narrow doors, the number of stabilization profiles or stiffeners against the wind can be chosen smaller, that is, the height of the section can be especially large, while wide doors can be equipped for stabilization with several profiles of stabilization or stiffeners against the wind in case of smaller section heights.

From a constructive point of view it has proved convenient that the door leaf has at least two plates of flexible material, arranged one after the other in the direction of the movement of the door leaf, between which a stabilization profile is arranged with two accommodation areas to accommodate the thickening provided on edges of plates facing each other. With the stabilization profile, the connection between the consecutive soft material plates is therefore carried out.

According to the invention, it is provided that at least one stabilization device extends almost parallel to an articulation axis along the entire width of the door leaf. A joint of the stabilization device without interference and without affecting the mobility of the joint arrangement is achieved according to the invention because the stabilization device is attached along the joint axis with at least one joint arrangement provided with two leaf edges side doors opposite each other.

In particular, for especially high and / or wide door leaves it has proven convenient in relation to the desired stabilization that at least one reinforcement band is provided which extends almost parallel to the side edge of the door leaf and is fixed to the door leaf. By using the corresponding reinforcing bands, which can also be glued and / or welded to the door leaf plates, sufficient overall stability can also be achieved even if the material of the plate itself does not have sufficient resistance to flexion

Similar to the roll-up doors described in DE 10 2009 017 767 A1, at least one spiral-shaped guide rail can be assigned to a roll-up door with flexible door leaf according to the invention to guide the movement of the leaf door and determine the opening position of the door leaf, presenting at least one articulation element, in its opposite side to the door leaf relative to a roll axis that runs parallel to the articulation axes, a guide roller of rotating support that is preferably housed, at least in the opening position of the door leaf, in a guide rail.

In addition to the usual spiral guide rail, alternative guide rails can also be made, such as an oval spiral, a horizontal deflection or also a vertical guide depending on the space available in the construction.

The roll-up door shown in Figure 1 comprises a door leaf completely called -10-, which is composed of plates -12- of transparent and flexible material, which are joined together by stabilization profiles -40-. At the side edges of the door leaf -10- are arranged arrangements of joints in the form of hinge bands -20- and -30- that are attached to the door leaf -10- through the stabilization profiles -40 -. The hinge bands present in the joints between the individual hinge elements, on their side opposite the door leaf -10-, guide rollers -22- or -32- with which it is possible to guide the movement of the door leaf using appropriate guide rails.

According to figure 1, the hinge bands -20- or -30- that form a push-pull assembly are formed by hinge elements -26- or -36- which at one of their ends have a fork-shaped housing or a comparable embodiment in which a hook of the adjacent hinge element fits. The fork and the hook are held by a common hinge bolt to achieve an articulated joint between the consecutive hinge elements. The roller shafts of the guide rollers -22- or -32- run parallel to the articulation shafts, preferably in a collinear manner. The stabilization profiles -40- made as extruded aluminum profiles also run parallel to the articulation axes or the roller axes. The joining of the stabilization profiles -40- to the joint arrangements -20- or -30- can take place at the pivot points of the hinge bands.

According to Figure 2, a roll-up door according to the invention has a guide rail -100- in the form of a spiral into which the hinge bands -20- or -30- are inserted upon reaching the opening position. In Figure 2, the hinge elements -26- or -36- have been removed in the area of the spiral-shaped guide rail in order to achieve a better representation of the door leaf itself. It is recognized that the flexible material plates adapt without problem to the desired spiral shape. Nor is it necessary for the plates themselves to be attached to the hinge bands. Rather, it is sufficient that the stabilization profiles -40- between the individual plates be attached to the joint arrangements in the form of hinge bands -20- or -30-. It is also evident that the individual plates of flexible material can extend along a considerable height of the door leaf. This is a special advantage compared to traditional slat doors, since it allows to minimize the diameter of the spiral.

According to Figure 3, the plates -12- present at the plate edges that run perpendicular to the lateral edges thickening made by welded edges -14- that are housed in housing areas -42- or -44- of the profiles of stabilization. The width of the housing areas -42- and -44- narrows from the housing areas -42- and -44- in a radial direction so that the housing areas, at their mouth areas, only allow the passage of the plates -12- with the wings of the edging attached but not the passage of the thickening or edging -14-. In this way a secure connection of the individual plates is achieved through the stabilization profiles -40-. However, traction or thrust forces must not be transmitted through this joint. These are transmitted through the hinge bands -20- or -30-.

According to Figure 4, the hinge bands -20- or -30- are connected by means of the stabilization elements -40-, using a screw that runs collinear to the roller axis of the guide rollers -22- or -32- and is secured with a locknut -50-. The screw is inserted into a corresponding notch -52- (compare figure 3) in the stabilization profiles -40-. In Figure 4 it is recognized that the articulation axis of the articulated joint between the consecutive hinge elements -26-, the roller axis, the screw axis and the axis of the stabilization profile -40- run practically in a collinear manner.

The invention is not limited to the embodiment explained based on the figure. It is also considered to provide additional stabilization bands parallel to the side edges of the door leaf to achieve additional stabilization against wind loads. Also the push-pull associations made in the form of hinge bands in the described embodiment can be carried out in another way. The union of the stabilization elements with the push-pull assembly can also be articulated, avoiding a rigid joint. In this way a floating arrangement is achieved, which helps prevent a transmission of torsional forces from the rolled segments to the thrust-pull assembly.
