Abstract
Un difusor óptico sol-cielo sólido capaz de reproducir, cuando se ilumina con luz blanca visible, la presencia simultánea de dos componentes cromáticos diferentes: una luz cenital difusa, en la que el azul es dominante, y una luz del sol transmitida, con un componente de azul bajo; 5 comprendiendo dicho difusor óptico una matriz sólida transparente que integra una dispersión de nanopartículas transparentes que tienen un tamaño medio d en el intervalo de 10 nm <= d <= 240 nm; en el que: - la relación entre las densidades ópticas de dispersión azul y roja γ >= Log [T (450 nm)] / Log [T (630 nm)] de dicho difusor óptico está comprendida en el intervalo 5 >= γ >= 2,5, en la que T (λ) es una transmitancia colineal normalizada monocromática del difusor óptico, definida como la relación entre la transmitancia de difusor óptico en la dirección de propagación, sin la contribución de la luz dispersada, y la transmitancia de una muestra de referencia idéntica al difusor óptico excepto en que no contiene las nanopartículas transparentes; en el que la transmitancia colineal normalizada monocromática del difusor a una longitud de onda de medición y a lo largo de una dirección de medición se mide: a) atravesando el difusor un haz de luz casi monocromático no polarizado que tiene una longitud de onda central igual a la longitud de onda de medición, un ancho de banda espectral menor que 10 nm y una divergencia angular menor que 5 mrad; b) midiendo una primera potencia radiante del haz de luz incidente sobre el difusor; c) midiendo una segunda potencia radiante del haz de luz que se propaga más allá del difusor, a lo largo de la dirección de medición y dentro de dicha divergencia angular; d) determinando una primera relación entre dichas potencias radiantes segunda y primera; e) iterando las etapas a) a d) en la muestra de referencia, con el fin de determinar una segunda relación, en relación con la muestra de referencia; y f) determinando una tercera relación entre las relaciones primera y segunda, siendo la transmitancia colineal normalizada monocromática igual a la tercera relación; - a lo largo de al menos una primera dirección de propagación, la transmitancia colineal normalizada monocromática del difusor óptico es T (450 nm) >= 0,4; - a lo largo de al menos una segunda dirección de propagación la transmitancia colineal normalizada monocromática del difusor óptico es T (450 nm) <= 0,9, en la que dicha segunda dirección de propagación es la misma que, o diferente que, la primera dirección de propagación.

El nanodifusor de acuerdo con la invención es un elemento óptico sólido que comprende una matriz sólida transparente que integra una dispersión de nanopartículas transparentes, cuyo tamaño medio d está en el intervalo de 10 nm ≤ d ≤ 240 nm. El elemento óptico puede tener cualquier forma, y volumen. Como una lista de posibles ejemplos, se menciona que puede tener la forma de un paralelepípedo, con cualquier relación entre la longitud del eje diferente, incluyendo de este modo el caso de paneles y películas, pero puede tener también la forma de superficies curvadas, es decir, como un cilindro, que puede estar completamente lleno o vacío en el interior. Puede tener la forma de un tubo, que puede ser recto o curvado, o como una fibra. Puede tener también la forma de una lente. Por otra parte, puede comprender un conjunto de diferentes elementos, que pueden comprender diferentes materiales. La dispersión de nanopartículas en la matriz de integración puede ser homogénea, o puede presentar, por ejemplo, unos gradientes en las fracciones de llenado. En el caso de gradientes o no homogeneidades, los límites en la fracción de llenado más alta tratados en la sección de óptica anterior están destinados a referirse a la fracción de llenado más alta presente en el difusor. Obsérvese que todas las otras cantidades definidas en la sección de óptica anterior son cantidades medias, que por lo tanto se refieren al nanodifusor como un todo, y se definen correctamente también en la presencia de una no homogeneidad relevante del difusor considerado.
Específicamente, cuatro realizaciones de conformación preferidas son

- un componente único macroscópico: un elemento óptico que comprende una matriz orgánica/inorgánica uniforme en la que las nanopartículas inorgánicas/orgánicas se dispersan homogéneamente.
- 2.
- un conglomerado heterogéneo: un elemento óptico que comprende una matriz orgánica/inorgánica uniforme en la que se incluyen perlas de un material de nanocompuesto, en la que las perlas pueden tener cualquier forma y dimensión en los intervalos de 1-103 m, preferentemente 1-102 m, lo más preferentemente 10-102 m, y pueden fabricarse usando el mismo o un material de matriz diferente, siempre que la diferencia en el índice de refracción entre las dos matrices integradas sea lo suficientemente pequeña para evitar que las perlas creen una dispersión de luz, una reflexión, una refracción o difracción no deseadas. Por otra parte, la fracción de llenado que presentan las perlas debería ser lo suficientemente baja para evitar que tengan lugar los efectos relacionados con la fracción de llenado alta, ilustrada en la presente descripción.

- una película: un elemento óptico que comprende una película de material de nanocompuesto, que puede soportarse por un bastidor o un soporte externo,

La matriz puede ser orgánica o inorgánica.
Las matrices orgánicas adecuadas para los fines de la presente invención son las que incluyen, pero no se limitan a las siguientes:
polímeros obtenidos por polimerización y copolimerización de uno, dos o más monómeros que pertenecen a las siguientes clases:
clase 1 monómeros acrílicos monofuncionales tales como los monómeros acrílico: acrilato de metilo (MA), acrilato de etilo (EA), acrilato de butilo (BA), acrilato de n-butilo (nBA), acrilato de iso-butilo (iBA), acrilato de tbutilo (TBA), hexilacrilato 2-etil (EHA), metacrilato de metilo (MMA), metacrilato de etilo (EMA), metacrilato de n-butilo (nBMA), metacrilato de isobutilo (IBMA), metacrilato de t-butilo (tBMA), lauril acrilato (LA), glicol dietileno bis (carbonato de alilo); clase II monómeros acrílicos bifuncionales tales como: diacrilato dietilenglicol (DEGDA), diacrilato de trietilenglicol (T3EGDA), diacrilato de tetraetilenglicol (T4EGDA), diacrilato glicol polietileno (P9EGDA), diacrilato de etilenglicol (EGDA), diacrilato butanodiol (BDDA), diacrilato hexanodiol (HDDA), diacrilato diol decametilendimetacrilato (DMDDA), diacrilato de neopentilglicol (NPGDA); clase III monómeros acrílicos trifuncionales tales como: trimetacrilato de trimetilolpropano, triacrilato de trimetilolpropano, triacrilato de pentaeritritol; clase IV monómeros acrílicos tetrafuncionales tales como: tetraacrilato de pentaeritritol
otros termoplásticos tales como policarbonatos (PC), poliestireno, polietileno, tereftalato de polietileno,
otros termoplásticos de especialidad como copolímeros de ciclo-olefina (COC) que contiene etileno, ciclopenteno, ciclohepteno, cicloocteno, norboneno. Los copolímeros estadísticos son amorfos si más del 10-15 % en moles de cicloolefinas está incorporado en la cadena polimérica. La temperatura de transición vítrea puede variarse a lo largo de un amplio intervalo mediante la selección de un norborneno como la cicloolefina y la variación de la cantidad de norborneno incorporado en la cadena de polímero. Los copolímeros de cicloolefina se caracterizan por una excelente transparencia, unas altas temperaturas de transición vítrea de hasta 200 ºC, y excelentes temperaturas de servicio de larga duración. Son resistentes a los disolventes polares y a los productos químicos y pueden procesarse en estado fundido. Debido a su alta relación hidrógeno/carbono, estos polímeros tienen un índice de refracción alto (1,53 para una incorporación de copolímero de etileno/norborneno al 50 % en moles).
