The present invention relates to rods (1) for glasses that carry on their outer surface a screen (2) by which advertising images, advertising slogans, messages of various kinds, or ornaments, colors, and / or others can be projected. types of decorative elements. The invention also includes the possibility of using a remote control system (3), a memory card (5) and a battery (6). In addition, the invention relates to glasses that include one or two rods (1) with screen (2) on its outer surface.

Description

The proposed rods start from any conventional structure to which modifications are applied to incorporate a screen, on one or both rods of a spectacle, by which we can project advertising images, advertising slogans, messages of various kinds, or ornaments, colors, and / or other types of decorative elements. In this report we will use the term "elements" to designate all such images and ornaments in general. The rods can be of any material, including acetate, wood or metal, and can be designed to embed a screen of special dimensions and predetermined shapes to allow the maximum visible field of view at a greater distance.

On the other hand, the screen is located on the outer face of the rod, so that it does not interfere with the user's vision, while the people around it can see it. The screen may be embedded in the material of which the rod is composed, or it may be superimposed on it.

The invention also includes a remote control system that gives the possibility of reproducing infinite images by storing the various elements in a memory card. This gives the possibility to change the item in question by updating the files stored on the memory card. The invention also includes a battery to provide a certain autonomy to the screen.

Both the rod with the embedded or superimposed screen and the other components that form or can be part of the invention for its operation should preferably have a low weight so that the use of the glasses carrying the rods of the invention is not uncomfortable. .

Embodiment of the invention

The present invention is further illustrated by the following example, which is not intended to limit its scope.

The screen can have any dimension but, in this example, a 52 x 32 x 6.1 mm OLED screen with rectangular shape was used.

A low-cost high-resolution color OLED screen (2) with standard connections was chosen that incorporates a 24x32x2.1 mm slot (4) on the back to insert an SD memory card (5) up to 2 GB. On the front of the screen (2) a remote control system (3) of 16x16 mm was added.

10 To allow a total energy autonomy, a portable battery (6) of 9.5x2.4x2.2cm was used. The connection is standard with a USB cable that connects the screen (2) with the rechargeable battery (6) of 1800 mAR and 5 V.
