Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un nuevo método y sistema de detección selectiva de defectos a tierra en cables de corriente continua que tienen sus pantallas conectadas a tierra en sus dos extremos.#Se identifica el cable que tiene un defecto a tierra al medir intensidad de defecto en los extremos de las dos pantallas del cable. Estas dos intensidades tienen polaridades contrarias si el cable no presenta fallo alguno. En cambio, si el cable tiene defecto, las dos intensidades tienen sentidos iguales.
