Abstract

Self-supporting, pre-fabricated, plank-like building element in reinforced concrete, characterized in that it comprises a criss-cross reinforcement (12) extending over substantially all the length and width of the element (1) and over at least half the thickness thereof, the said reinforcement (12) defining, in manner known per se, contiguous alveoli (13), evenly distributed through the whole reinforcement (12) and defined by a strip-like material (21, 22 30 40) substantially perpendicular to the large faces of the element (1), the said criss-cross reinforcement (12) being completely embedded in the concrete which fills the alveoli (13) and in that the concrete embedding the criss-cross reinforcement (12) is itself reinforced by a skin armature (15) surrounding the said criss-cross reinforcement (12) over its entire periphery.
