Abstract
Pieza cerámica evapo-transpirativa para una construcción sostenible caracterizada por un elemento cerámico hueco (1) preferentemente prismático de dimensiones, colocación y forma variable (de planta triangular, cuadrada, pentagonal, hexagonal, heptagonal, octagonal, eneagonal..., circular) que alberga en su interior un sistema de vaporización-humectación (2), conectado a un sistema de suministro de agua que humedece sus paredes y provoca el enfriamiento evaporativo del aire en contacto con la pieza cerámica. Consta, en su parte superior, de un cierre (3) que evita el soleamiento directo bajo la misma, proporcionando sombra. Este cierre superior puede estar formado por una placa fotovoltaica que aproveche la radiación solar para su conversión en energía eléctrica. Estos sistemas descritos anteriormente (1, 2, 3) refrescan el aire y consecuentemente el ambiente con muy escaso aporte energético eléctrico o incluso sin aporte energético eléctrico. Además, el sistema puede disponerse en superficies amplias mediante la agrupación modular de elementos cerámicos, formando pérgolas que aportarán mayor capacidad de enfriamiento y captación eléctrica fotovoltaica.
