Abstract

Surfboard, formed according to a longitudinal configuration of variable widths, comprising a zone (1) in the front and a zone (2) in the back that determine two transverse widenings with respect to a zone (3) narrower of the part central, with a certain relation between the maximum widths (H1 and H2) of the zones (1 and 2) and the minimum width (H3) of the zone (3), as well as a certain relation of the situation of said widths (H1 , H2 and H3) with respect to the total length (L) of the table.

The present invention is related to the sport of surfing, proposing a table for this function that optimizes maneuverability and sliding on water. State of the art

Surfing is a sport in which a person glides on the water, usually on the waves of the sea, using a board on which the user is incorporated to slide on the water.

Surfboards conventionally determine an elongated shape, being able to be flat or with a certain curvature upward in the ends, and structurally formed, commonly, by an inner layer of light plastic material and an outer layer of glass fiber or a similar material. In their configuration, said tables can also determine accessory conformations, such as fins, etc.

With these characteristics there is a variety of tables that differ in their shapes and size according to the user's particularities, the type of waves that are to be practiced, etc., for adaptation to the best manageability conditions, being in that sense the tables, of different lengths, with narrower contours, with greater curvature, or made in different materials, but conventionally the general contour is oval. Object of the invention

In accordance with the present invention, a surfboard is proposed, whose configuration is defined with characteristics that provide optimum maneuverability and sliding conditions.

This table object of the invention determines a general contour elongated in symmetrical assembly with respect to the longitudinal axis, defining in its length a front area and a posterior area transversely widened with respect to the central area that defines a narrowing.

The front or nose area is the widest part of the board, determining at the end a spike shape, while the back or tail area is a slightly lower width, determining a semicircular shape at the end, while the central zone determines a narrowing that is defined progressively in rounded curvature from the aforementioned extreme zones.

Said characteristics of con fi guration of the table are provided with particular proportions of relationship between them, achieving a set that optimizes the functionality of the table for maneuverability and sliding on water in application use.

The ends of the table can determine in one or both of us a slight upward curvature, which may vary depending on the characteristics of the user and the modeling on which they are to be practiced.

With all this, the surfboard object of the invention results in very advantageous characteristics for use, acquiring its own life and preferential character for the function to which it is intended.

Description of the fi gures

Figure 1 shows a side view of the recommended surfboard, according to an embodiment.

The object of the invention refers to a surfboard, made with a con fi guration that gives it optimum maneuverability and sliding characteristics.

The recommended table determines an elongated configuration with symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis, having in the front or nose an area (1) and in the back or tail an area (2), which transversely determine a widening with respect to an area (3 ) of the central part that is transversely narrower, with a rounded contour of progressive transition in curvature from the zonasextremes (1 and 2) to the central zone (3).

The zone (1) of the front part determines at the end a peak shape (4), from which said zone (1) progressively increases in transverse width to a maximum width (H1) that is at a distance (L1) relative to the posterior end of the total length (L) of the table.

The zone (2) of the rear part (2) determines a semicircular extreme contour, with a progressive transverse widening up to a maximum width (H2) that is at a distance (L2) from the end of the posterior contour, this width being (H2 ) slightly smaller than the maximum width (H1) of the area (1) of the front part.

The zone (3) of the central part determines a transverse narrowing with respect to the aforementioned zones (1 and 2) of the front and rear parts, with a minimum width (H3) of said zone (3) remaining a distance (L3) with respect to the back end of the table , this distance (L3) being between 35% and 42% of the total length (L) of the table, preferably being of the order of 38% of said total length (L) of the table.

The distance (L1) of the maximum width (H1) of the front area (1), from the rear end of the board, is between 76% and 80% of the total length (L) of the board, while that, the distance (L2) of the maximum width (H2) of the rear zone (2), with respect to the rear end of the table, is between 15% and 18% of said total length (L) of the table .

On the other hand, the minimum width (H3) of the zone

(3) of the central part is between 81% and 85% of the maximum width (H1) of the area (1) of the front, while said minimum width (H3) of the area (3) of the central part is between 93% and 97% of the maximum width (H2) of the area (2) of the back, this width (H2) being comprised between 20% and 23% of the total length (L) of the board.

Claims (3)

1. Surfboard, the type that has an elongated configuration with symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis, characterized in that it longitudinally determines a con fi guration of variable widths, with rounded contours and progressive transference in curvature between the different widths, comprising a zone (1) in the front and an area (2) on the back that determine two transverse widenings with respect to a narrower zone (3) of the central part, between which zones a width ratio is met such that the minimum width (H3) of the zone (3) The center is between 81% and 85% of the maximum width (H1) of the front area (1) and between 93% and 97% of the maximum width (H2) of the rear area (2), the width (H1) being found maximum of the front zone (1) at a distance (L1) from the rear end which is between 76% and 80% of the total length (L) of the table, the minimum width (H3) of the zone

2. Surfboard, according to the first claim, characterized in that the minimum width (H3) of the central area (3) is at a distance (L3) from the rear end of the order of 38% of the total length (L ) of the table.

The technical object of the invention discloses a surfboard, of the type that has an elongated configuration with symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis, characterized in that it longitudinally determines a configuration of variable widths, with rounded contours and progressive transition in curvature between the different widths, comprising a zone in the front and a zone in the rear that determine two transverse widenings with respect to a narrower zone of the central part, between which zones a width ratio is met such that the minimum width of the central zone is comprised between 81% and 85% of the maximum width of the front zone and between 93% and 97% of the maximum width of the rear zone, the maximum width of the front zone being at a distance from the rear end which is between 76% and 80% of the total length of the table, the minimum width of the central area at a distance ncia of the rear end that is between 35% and 42% of the total length of the table, and the maximum width of the rear area at a distance of the rear end that is between 15% and 18% of the total length of the table, while this width is between 20% and 23% of the total length of the table.
Document D01 discloses a surfboard with very similar shapes and proportions (see description and figure 2), which could even meet the ranges defined in the application. In any case, there is no surprising technical effect that derives from these numerical limitations with respect to the disclosed state of the art and therefore must be considered as an obvious application of the known technique devoid of inventive activity (Art. 8.1 of LP11 / 86 ).
Claim 2 is considered a mere obvious particular execution for a person skilled in the art and therefore does not imply inventive activity (Art. 8.1 of LP11 / 86).
