Abstract

Housing for roll of filiform material. # Especially designed for rolls of electric cables, although it can also be used for other types of hoses, fabric tapes and the like, it allows easy and comfortable cable availability. Object of the invention

The present invention refers to a housing for rolls of solid material, which is preferably designed for rolls of electric cables, although it can also be used for irrigation hoses, pressurized air hoses, fabric belts, electric extensions, etc.

The object of the invention is to achieve a housing for any of the types of roll mentioned above, allowing easy, simple and convenient availability of the cable or solid material in question. Background of the invention

As is known, the rolls of solid material, among which the electric cables, including type hoses, can be mentioned, either form a reel together with a core overwound, or are arranged on reels of equal and extreme tensiones delimiting the roll, so that the rotation of this reel it allows to have the desired length of the solid material in roll.

However, regardless of the existence of other types of reel, of greater or lesser complexity, what is evident is that so far all known reels have problems when fixing them to a suitable rod, as well as when carry out the dispensing or disposal of the amount of cable or hose that is desired, all of which is a problem for traders, who sell the rolls of solid material in sections

or hoses, and even for professionals in the sector, including the manufacturers themselves.

Description of the invention

The recommended carcass has been conceived to solve the above-mentioned problem, since it constitutes a cylindrical body in whose interior what can be considered as a reel is established, this being rotatable and allowing the material to be provided in the measure that is desired, and also has means that allow the assembly can be held effectively on an appropriate support, be it a wall, be it a wheelbarrow, etc.

More specifically, the carcass of the invention is constituted from a base on which a cylindrical body is disposed open superiorly and with a lateral hole, from whose base an axis emerges perpendicular to the base of the cylindrical body itself and subject thereto to through the center of a bearing established in said base of the cylindrical body, and with the special feature that two tubular elements parallel to each other are arranged on the bottom, adjacent to opposite dosages, so that in correspondence with one of the tubular ends, a kind of clamp to be able to hold on bases or vertical elements, such as, for example, the sides of the corresponding frame of a truck that allows carrying several housings with rolls of solid material inside, as will be explained below.

On the base of the cylindrical body and mounted on it, a disc with large holes is provided for the passage of corresponding tapes that are passed through these holes and are anchored at points located on the underside of the said disc, which will constitute a support for the respective rocomentadas, which are passed through a second disk, which is superimposed on the rolloy that is also affected by other large holes and with handles on its top, through which the strips that properly tensioned allow to perfectly hold the roll inside, that is between the two discs and the lateral surface of the cylindrical body, all in a way that the tapes will have means of adhesive fixation, as can be done, to make it timely fixation after tensioning.

On the lateral surface of the cylindrical body in which the assembly forming the roll with the two discs and the fastening tape is housed, a wide hole for the final passage of the corresponding roll of solid material has been provided, to stop, after its corresponding traction, extracting the desired length .

The assembly thus constituted can be supported on two fixed arms, which can emerge from a wall,

or be belonging to the sides of a transport trolley, etc., by housing these arms in the lower tubes of the base corresponding to the general housing mentioned above, the assembly being immobilized by hooking the con fi gurations as clamps established in one of the edges of the base in, for example, the vertical sides of a truck, thus keeping the assembly that forms the housing with the reel inside it perfectly stable and immobilized, in transport by the truck.

Finally, to say that the lateral surface of the cylindrical body is capable of incorporating a strip, for example of Velcro, to fix one of the clamp strips of the reel and thus immobilize the assembly so that it does not rotate the reel, and that the assembly of the two discs on the axis in the center of the base is rotatable to be able to extract the solid material, hence to avoid that rotation taking place during transport during any other circumstance, the lateral surface of the cylindrical body has means to which one of the strips of the reel can be attached to achieve the immobilization of this one.

In a variant embodiment, the reel is driven by winding the solid material on a cylinder whose bases are two discs of greater diameter, forming what is a classic reel and mounted that assembly on the emerging axis of the base of the housing, so that in In this case, the reel with the roll can be positioned over any of its faces, allowing the cable manufacturer to wish to be able to dispense its wound product on said fixed reel already arranged to enter the aforementioned housing. As can be seen in the aforementioned figures, the housing of the invention is constituted from a support base (1) that can have any geometric configuration, although it has been represented with a quadrangular configuration, but which can also be circular, polygonal, etc. This support base

arranged parallel to each other and conveniently spaced, so that in correspondence with each end of these tubes (2) some elements have been provided as clamps (3) whose function will be discussed later.

From that support base (1) vertical emergence (4) which is through the bottom (5) of a cylindrical body (6) disposed above, the cylindrical body (6) being affected in its surface area of a wide opening or window (7).

The shaft (4) is mounted in the center of a bearing (4 ') located on the commented bottom (5) of the cylindrical body (6), being passed through a disc (8) with holes (9) of remarkable amplitude , through which are strips fastening strips (10) that are anchored on one end in support elements (11) that exist on the underside of the commented disk (8), counting this on the aforementioned underside and centered with a recess (12 ) which prevents the same support on the inner cylinder of the bearing (4 ').

That disk (8) on which the shaft (4) is passed through is arranged on the bottom (5) of the cylindrical body (6), to receive the roll of solid material (13), which can be a cable, a hose or any other reliable or similar element that must be disposed in a reel and from which, by means of traction, see the desired sections, prior to sectioning them.

The roll of solid material or the like is supported on the surface of the disc (8) housed in the bottom (5) of the cylindrical body (6), outside the strips (10), between them and the inner lateral surface of the cylindrical body (6), in order to carry out the maintenance of the roll (13).

Once this roll of solid material has been placed

duly shaped, each tape or strip (10) being fixed on itself, either by means of a Velcro type adhesive surface, or by any other means, so that in any case the set formed by the two discs (8 and 14) with the strips (10) yobviously with the roll of solid material (13), they form a reel which, thanks to the bearing (4 '), is rotatable over-axis (4) and therefore inside the housing, so that the end (13') of said roll of solid material (13) it emerges through the opening or window (7) of the cylindrical body (6), to be able to pull and carry out the dispensing of the desired amount of cable, in the case of a cable, since if it were a hose what will be dispensed the hose, which it will constitute the roll of solid material (13).

Obviously, in the disc (14) that acts as a closing cover, a bearing can be mounted, just like the one established in the bottom, that is to say bearing (4 ') corresponding to the bottom (5) of the cylindrical body (6 ), in which case the rotation of the reel assembly is made difficult.

The housing thus constituted with the outer carriage can be held and mounted on an appropriate support constituted by a pair of arms (17) that are passed through the tubes (2) established inferiorly in the support base (1) of the assembly, thus being supported on those arms (17 ), as shown for example in Figure 6, in which a truck (18) is shown on whose vertical sides a plurality of pairs of horizontal arms (17) are provided, each pair supporting a housing, which is perfectly anchored in each case through the cinching that perform the pinzasextremas

Finally, to say that the lateral surface of the carcass and specifically the cylindrical body (6), can be provided with an element (19), such as a velcro strip, to fix one of the strips (10) and prevent that, in the transport or in any manipulation of the set, you can rotate the reel formed by the mentioned discs (8 and 14) with the roll of solid material (13) attached to them by means of the strips (10).

Finally, say the outer shell, that is to say the platform that constitutes the support base (1) with the shaft (4), with its respective bearing (4 ') and with the cylindrical body (6), can accommodate instead of the base of that cylinder , thus forming a fixed reel that can be arranged or mounted on the axle (4) through any of the ends of such fixed reel.

Claims (6)

1. It covers the material of solid material, which is intended to accommodate and perfectly hold a roll of solid material that can be both electric cable and hose, tape or other elements wound to form a reel, characterized in that it is distributed from a general support base (1) on one of whose faces are located a cylindrical body (6), through which bottom emerges perpendicularly and in a centered way (4) mounted in the center of a bearing (4 ') and coming from the support base (1), on whose axis (4) is mounted a first disc (8) with wide holes (9) for passage of respective strips (10) hold the bottom face of the disc, said strips (10) establishing a fastening means for the roll of solid material (13) or similar located on the outer disk and the inner surface of the cylindrical body, being complemented by a second disk (14) located above the roll of solid material (13), this second disk being also mounted on the concentric axis (4) and affected by holes for the passage of the strips (10) from the first disc (8), establishing between the two discs and the reel a reel is perfectly secured and formed by tensioning the belts, which are fastened prior to passing through elements like handles (15) established in the upper surface of the disc in cover functions. 2. Housing for roll of solid material, according to claim 1, characterized in that the roll of solid material can be mounted on a cylindrical body with two end discs forming a fixed reel capable of being arranged at either end, on the axis that emerges vertically from the bottom of the cylindrical housing.

On the roll there is a second disc The discs are provided with holes, through which tapes pass, which once tensioned and fixed, they hold the roll inside the space between the cylindrical body and the discs. The request consists of 5 claims. The 1st of which is independent and the rest dependent. The first claim describes the elements comprising the technical object of the invention. The second claim specifies the existence of lateral opening for passage of the end of the roll. The third claim describes the elements of securing the device to a support. The 4th claim specifies technical characteristics of the tension and tension tapes. The 5th claim describes an alternative of mounting the roll forming a fixed reel. Of the documents cited in the State of the Art Report, it is considered the closest to the invention, the document W09726206 (DO1). DO1 discloses a support of filiform material, provided with a cylindrical body through which it crosses an axis of shape centered and mounted between two sectors with large holes. Finding the subject roll between both sectors by tensioned tapes. The differences between DO1 and the 1st claim are: the roll disclosed by DO1 lacks a support base; being the body cylindrical, inside the roll, playing the core function of the roll, and not outside the roll playing the role of Containment as claimed in the application. The fastening tapes do not pass through the holes of both sectors, nor are they tensioned in handles contained in the upper sector. No document cited in the State of the Art Report, questions in an isolated or combined way the novelty and inventive activity of the 1st claim, nor therefore of the dependents.
