Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en la fabricación de un material ferromagnético cerámico que tiene una curva de histéresis sustancialmente rectangular caracterizadas porque se hace por compresión y fusión de una mezcla de óxidos de un metal o metales trivalentes y por lo menos un óxido de un metal bivalente incluyendo manganeso y opcionalmente también uno del grupo consistente en magnesio, zinc y cadmio, consistiendo los porcentajes moleculares en dicha mezcla, de entre 23 y 52 de óxidos de metales trivalentes, de los cuales por lo menos tres cuartos es óxido férrico, siendo la suma de los de manganeso (basada en el número de átomos de manganeso presentes), y magnesio, si lo hay, entre 33 y 77 y el óxido de magnesio, si lo hay, no excediendo de 20, teniendo el material final un coeficiente negativo de magnetoestricción, un tamaño de grano entre 10 y 100 micras y una composición molecular en la que los porcentajes de óxidos de los metales en estado trivalente y los de los metales en estado bivalente son sustancialmente iguales.
