Abstract

The invention relates to sliding shelves for containing flat materials such as large-size, heavy sheets made of various materials. The invention is characterized in that, multiple sliding trays have been mounted in a substantially rectangular and height-variable frame. Said trays can slide due to the roller bearing located on said trays and to another two bearings located on the side of the frame on which the trays are supported. The shelves are modular and the elements that form part of said shelves such as small pillars, longitudinal beams and crossbeams forming the frame are assembled using appropriate screws. Said shelves have a tray end travel safety catch and a safety locking device that enables actuation on any of the trays while immobilizing all other trays.

Description

Safety lock device.

The present specification refers to, as its title indicates, to a safety bolt device and the type of those used for shelves with sliding trays, such as those used in workshops to contain materials planes of important dimensions and large weights, such as plates of metal or other materials.

Currently in this type of shelving, which It is used to contain metal plates or any material, they have the disadvantage of being very dangerous handling operation, adding to the danger derived from the weight of them the non-immobilization of the other trays when one of them is being manipulated.

To solve transport problems and the known danger of handling in a tray without immobilizing the others, the device of security lock object of the present invention.

The mounting of the device on the shelf is  can be done by fastening with screws to the shelving in the workplace, without modifying said shelving.

The safety bolt device is formed by conventional bolts for each tray aligned vertically, which are aligned by adding to each of the Locks a stem. In these stems a plate is placed that slide on the stems in the vertical direction. The locks have as a stop said plate that does not allow the opening of the trays,  except in the position that said locks coincide with some holes in the plate. These holes are aligned vertically, but the distance between them is different than the distance between the bolts, so that only vertically match a hole in the plate with a bolt allowing only the opening of said bolt and the tray that immobilized. The other possible position is that of no coincidence between bolts and holes in the plate, which leaves all trays locked without possibility of extraction.

The advantages in increasing security in the Tray handling is obvious as it does not allow the operator neglect in the immobilization of the other trays when you are acting on a specific one.

There is the added advantage of the simplicity of its  installation and the low cost it entails.

To better understand the purpose of this invention, an embodiment has been shown in the attached drawing preferential practice of it. In that plane:

Figure -1- shows a perspective of said bolt mounted on the support beam of the structure, enabling the output of a tray.

Figure 1 shows the bolts (1) in each tray allowing the extraction of one of them, sliding the plate (2) over the stems (1.1) until match the hole (2.1) of the plate (2) with the bolt (1) corresponding to said tray, moving it and allowing it opening of said tray.

Figure 2 shows the two pieces that make up the device, the bolt (1) and the plate (2).

Said bolt (1) is a flat piece of shape trapezoidal which has a hollow cylinder welded on one side (1.2) which next to a cylinder (1.3) that slides through said hollow cylinder (1.2), it functions as a bolt, and on the other hand it has welded the rod (1.1) where the plate slides (2) that impossible to open the bolt except for the positions matching the holes (2.1) of the plate with the cylinder (1.3) acting as a bolt.

The sliding plate (2) is a flat plate that the holes (2.1) of the release of the bolt (1) in the same vertical direction, in addition to some guides sliding (2.2) for the rods (1.1) attached to the bolt (one). This plate (2) is placed in the vertical working position ensuring its horizontal immobility by screws or other clamping mechanisms

1. Safety lock device, characterized in that it consists of several conventional locks, connected with a sliding plate, that control the opening of only one of the trays or the impossibility of opening any of them.
