Abstract

The invention relates to a security information system, comprising a receiver for detecting at least one starting condition, which is any triggering pulse, a system control unit, a transmitter station with an automatic dialling unit for participation in network-independent communications, especially GSM, as well as a recording unit and voice mail system. The receiver detects a triggering pulse and activates the system control unit, which starts a transmission program, consisting of automatic dialling of at least one programmed call number by the transmitter station, possibly followed by automatic dialling of other programmed call numbers, for example if no connection is established. After a connection has been established signals, especially a beep or recorded message which corresponds to the triggering pulse and/or a position-dependent position signal, are transmitted to the corresponding receiving station, and/or the connection is released for transmission to the receiving station of acoustic signals generated at that moment in the area of the security information system, whereby these signals are received by the recording unit and transmitted to the receiving station via the transmitter station.
