Abstract
Una aleación a base de aluminio que tiene una composición en los siguientes intervalos, estando todos los intervalos especificados en porcentaje en peso: litio 2,0 a 2,8; magnesio 0,4 a 1,0; cobre 2,0 a 3,0; manganeso 1,0 a 1,2; circonio hasta 0,2; elementos de control de grano hasta 2,0, seleccionándose de escandio, titanio, vanadio y niobio en hasta 0,2 por ciento en peso, níquel y cromo en hasta 0,5 por ciento en peso y preferentemente en hasta 0,2 por ciento en peso, hafnio en hasta 0,6 por ciento en peso, y cerio en hasta 0,5 por ciento en peso; y el resto aluminio; en la que dicha aleación exhibe anisotropía de resistencia a la tracción reducida en comparación con aleaciones Al-Li- Cu-Mg-Zr convencionales.
