Abstract

Se trata de un motor por variación del volumen de un fluido, formado a partir de pares de cilindros, abiertos en su parte superior y unidos en la inferior, donde se forma un cárter, con su correspondiente cigüeñal, bielas y pistones. Sobre esos pistones se disponen sendos orificios de expulsión y, por encima de ellos, sendas compuertas que se cerrarán o abrirán alternativamente. Los cilindros están llenos de un fluido, y es el peso del mismo el que ejerce presión sobre el pistón que está en punto muerto superior y con su compuerta abierta. La cámara del cilindro contrario, formada por el pistón en el punto muerto inferior y su correspondiente compuerta cerrada, se evacuará de fluido a través del orificio de expulsión, volviendo al cilindro por su parte superior. Ese proceso de presión y expulsión será alternativo en uno y otro cilindros, produciendo el movimiento continuado del motor.
