Posicionador con dos grados de libertad para modelos de escayola en ortodoncia. Positioner with two degrees of freedom for orthodontic plaster models. Consiste en una pequeña plataforma (1) que, apoyada en una rótula principal (2), posiciona en el espacio un modelo de escayola de una dentadura situada en ella. Is a small platform (1) supported on a main ball joint (2), positioned in space a plaster cast of a dentition located therein. El objetivo es realizar diferentes barridos para recoger imágenes desde un computador, cambiando el ángulo de incidencia entre un haz de luz (láser, colimada, polarizada...) y el modelo. El movimiento lo realizan dos motores paso a paso (3) transfiriéndolo a la plataforma a través de dos mecanismos de cuatro barras [(1)-(5)- (6)-(7)], situados en planos perpendiculares con balancín común en la propia plataforma.
