Abstract

Rebound stopper for hydraulic dampers.In conventional hydraulic dampers, both of the single-tube and dual-tube type, there is a piston (3) connected to an activation piston rod (4). Defined are two chambers: one traction chamber (5) and one compression chamber (6) the liquid passes through calibrated holes in the valves that exist in the piston (3), during the relative movements between the wheel of the vehicle and the vehicle body.According to the invention, there will be hydraulic rebound stoppers so that the end of the stroke of the wheel, when the latter passes through the dip or bump, is performed with additional hydraulic resistance.The load is increased in the traction chamber so that the wheel lowers slowly because there is a closing head (9) located in the traction chamber (5) that is coaxial to the piston rod (4) and which divides this chamber into two sub-chambers (17, 21) it is driven by a spring (10) against an internal spring (12) of the cylinder wall and both are intercommunicated using a central passage (16) and peripheral holes (18). The central passage (16) can be closed by a socket (13) next to the piston rod (4) using a closing joint (22).
