Dispositivo para la combustión en continuo de residuos sólidos. El dispositivo está previsto para quemar residuos sólidos derivados de la madera, susceptibles de aprovechamiento energético, basándose en un régimen de contacto gas-sólido con reducida pérdida de carga y sin necesidad de utilizar material sólido inerte para la combustión de sólidos o materiales de diferente granulometría y con textura irregular. El dispositivo se fundamenta en que la cámara de combustión (1) es de configuración tronco-cónica y presenta una entrada (3), entre la cual y la base de la parte tronco-cónica se define un tramo intermedio (4) divergente, siendo el ángulo de la parte tronco-cónica entre 12º y 24º, mientras que el ángulo del tramo intermedio (4) es de 60º. La relación del diámetro interno de la entrada (3) y el interno de la base inferior de la parte tronco-cónica está comprendida entre y 5/6, todo ello con objeto de que un caudal de aire impulsado de abajo hacia arriba a través de la entrada (3) produzca un canal (5) del material contenido en la cámara tronco-cónica, y producir movimientos de ascenso/descenso del material, con una homogénea y eficaz combustión del mismo.
