AL PASO DE UN ANGULO QUE CONECTA UNA PRIMERA TRAYECTORIA DE CAMINO DE CORTE A UNA SEGUNDA TRAYECTORIA, UNA ROTACION DE HOJA ES CONTROLADA DURANTE SU DESPLAZAMIENTO EN EL SENO DE LA MATERIA PARA PASAR AUTOMATICAMENTE DE UNA PRIMERA ORIENTACION TANGENTE A LA PRIMERA TRAYECTORIA A UNA SEGUNDA ORIENTACION TANGENTE A LA SEGUNDA TRAYECTORIA.
