Abstract

The box is made from plastic and has the special feature that, on two of its opposite walls 2, there are pairs of fins 3 which, obtained during the actual phase of moulding the box 1, can be folded down via a hinging line 4 in order to occupy a vertical position and to allow mutual nesting of boxes 1 or, alternatively, to occupy a horizontal support position for another box stacked on top of the previous one. Under the hinging line 4 of each fin 3 provision has been made for projections 5 for supporting said hinging line in its horizontal position, there being, in line and under said projections 5, grooves or windows 6 which reach the bottom and which constitute a means for housing said projection 5 when the boxes are nested together.
