COMPOSICIONES UTILES COMO MATERIALES ABSORBENTES DE LIQUIDO TRANSPARENTE HAN SIDO FORMADAS POR MEZCLA DE UN MATERIAL POLIMERICO INSOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO CON UN MATERIAL POLIMERICO SOLUBLE EN LIQUIDO. THE INSOLUBLE MATERIAL IN LIQUID IS SUPPOSED TO FORM A MATRIX WITHIN WHICH THE SOLUBLE MATERIAL IN LIQUID RESIDES. A PROBLEM THAT FREQUENTLY RISES IN THE FORMULATION OF POLYMER MIXTURES IS THE INCOMPATIBILITY OF POLYMERS THAT ARE BEING MIXED. WHEN ATTEMPTS ARE MADE TO MIX POLYMERS THAT ARE INCOMPATIBLE, PHASE SEPARATIONS OCCUR, RESULTING MIST, LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND OTHER FORMS OF INHOMOGENEITY. THIS INVENTION PROVIDES POLYMERIC BADS THAT INCLUDE MIXTURES OF POLYMERS IN WHICH AT LEAST ONE OF THE MIXTURE POLYMERS IS CROSSED AFTER THE MIXTURE, TO FORM A CONTINUOUS MESH THROUGH THE MASS OF THE MIXTURE, BEING THE MIXED THE MIXED INTERRUPTED IN SUCH WAY AS TO FORM A MACROSCOPICALLY HOMOGENOUS COMPOSITION. SUBSTANTIALLY THE TOTALITY OF THE CROSSED LINK IS PRESENTED AFTER THE POLYMERIC MIXTURE IS COVERED AND DRIED TO FORM A CONTINUOUS FILM IN CONTRAST WITH THE CROSSED LINK IN SOLUTION, PROVIDING FOR THAT AN EASY REVESTIBLE REVESTIBLE SOLUTION. THE INTEGRITY OF SUCH FAILURES PERSISTS EVEN AFTER THE SOLVENT ABSORPTION. THESE MATERIALS CAN BE EMPLOYED TO FORM TRANSPARENT COATINGS, INK ABSORBENTS, NOT STICKY, DURABLE, FOR GRAPHIC MATERIALS.
