Abstract
A locking device (1) with at least one arrangement of the latch pin (12, 13, 14) which includes an intermediate part (14) between the housing and the male latches (12, 13). A conversion key (21) is provided on its rear side (22) with a recess (23) to receive the intermediate part (14) in order to withdraw the latter and thus vary the configuration of the latch. On the rod of the cylinder (7) is a transverse groove (24) to permit the conversion key (21) to continue actuating the lock after conversion, by the provision of sliding surfaces (F) that position the housing latch (12) where it cannot avoid rotation. The use of a modified conversion key (21')is also provided to introduce an intermediate part (14), the key including a clearance hole (26) for an ejection rod for the part (27).
