Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a textile machine.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE BACKGROUND ART
  • Textile machines such as false-twist texturing machines or air-jet texturing machines are provided with a winding device that winds a yarn fed continuously onto a bobbin to form a package and a yarn waste collection device that collects yarn waste (including fiber debris) generated by the winding device. A plurality of winding devices are arranged in the textile machine and are disposed in both a column direction aligned horizontally and a stage direction aligned vertically. In other words, in the textile machine, a plurality of the winding devices are arranged in a configuration of a plurality of columns and a plurality of stages. In each of the plurality of winding devices, a doffing operation is performed to switch from a state of forming a package to a state of winding a yarn onto a new bobbin. During the doffing operation, the package formed by winding a yarn onto a bobbin is replaced with an empty bobbin onto which no yarn has been wound yet. In the textile machine, the yarn continues to be supplied to the winding device even during the doffing operation. Therefore, in the textile machine, the yarn waste generated by the winding device during the doffing operation is collected by the yarn waste collection device.
  • For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a false-twist texturing machine (an example of a textile machine) equipped with a plurality of winding devices (winding devices 107) arranged in a configuration of a plurality of columns and a plurality of stages, and a yarn waste collection device (fiber debris collection device 1) that collects the yarn waste generated by the winding devices. The yarn waste collection device includes a yarn waste transfer pipe (fiber debris transfer pipe 11) provided along the arrangement direction of the plurality of winding devices in each of a plurality of stages, and a yarn waste collection unit (fiber debris collection unit 13) connected to one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes.
  • Each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes in the yarn waste collection device is connected to a plurality of suction pipes (suction pipes 16) for sucking yarn waste at positions corresponding to the plurality of winding devices in each stage. Each of the plurality of suction pipes is connected to a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer (solenoid valve 24) that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe to suck the yarn waste generated by the corresponding winding device and transfer the yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit at one end side of the yarn waste transfer pipe and a state of stopping the supply. Each of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer is configured to switch to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer when the corresponding winding device is performing the doffing operation described above.
  • On the other end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes, an auxiliary compressed air switching valve (open/close control valve 27) is connected, which switches between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe to assist in transferring the yarn waste toward the yarn waste collection unit and a state of stopping the supply. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve for the yarn waste transfer pipe in each stage is configured to switch to the state of supplying auxiliary compressed air when at least one of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage is switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.

  • (Problems to be Solved)
  • In the false-twist texturing machine disclosed in Patent Document 1, a plurality of winding devices are arranged in a configuration of a plurality of columns and a plurality of stages, and in each of the plurality of winding devices, a doffing operation is performed to switch from a state of forming a package to a state of winding yarn onto a new bobbin. As a doffing method for performing the doffing operation in a plurality of winding devices, there is a sequence doffing method in which the doffing operation is performed sequentially in the plurality of winding devices. In the sequence doffing method, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices are performed, for each winding device, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices. In the sequence doffing method, since the doffing operations are performed, for each winding device, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices, the doffing operations can be performed efficiently across the plurality of winding devices.
  • In the false-twist texturing machine disclosed in Patent Document 1, when the sequence doffing method is employed, the doffing operation is performed in the winding devices arranged in the lowermost stage, and then, after a predetermined interval, the doffing operation is performed in the winding devices arranged in the stage immediately above, with the order of doffing operations being switched. When the yarn waste collection device disclosed in Patent Document 1 is adopted to a false-twist texturing machine in which the doffing operation is switched in this manner, a situation repeatedly occurs where the doffing operation in the winding device of one stage overlaps with the doffing operation in the winding device of another stage. In this case, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer corresponding to the winding device in one stage and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe in the stage operate to supply compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air, while simultaneously, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer corresponding to the winding device in another stage and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe in that other stage operate to supply compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air. Therefore, in the yarn waste transfer pipes of a plurality of stages, compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air are supplied simultaneously, leading to an increase in compressed air consumption.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention has been made in view of the above problem, and an object thereof is to suppress the consumption of compressed air in a textile machine described in the background art when the sequence doffing method is employed. Specifically, the present invention aims to suppress the consumption of compressed air in a textile machine equipped with a yarn waste collection device configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to suction pipes provided at positions corresponding to winding devices to suck yarn waste and to supply auxiliary compressed air to yarn waste transfer pipes, each provided in a plurality of stages and connected to a plurality of suction pipes, when the sequence doffing method is employed.
  • (Means for Solving Problems)
  • A first aspect of the present invention is a textile machine including:
    • a winding device that winds a yarn fed continuously onto a bobbin to form a package; and
    • a yarn waste collection device that collects the yarn waste (including fiber debris) generated by the winding device, wherein
    • a plurality of winding devices are arranged in a configuration of a plurality of columns and a plurality of stages,
    • the plurality of the winding devices are each provided with a configuration to perform a doffing operation to switch from a state of forming the package to a state of winding the yarn onto a new bobbin,
    • the yarn waste collection device includes a yarn waste transfer pipe provided along an arrangement direction of the plurality of the winding devices in each of a plurality of stages, and one or a plurality of yarn waste collection units connected to one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes,
    • each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes is connected to a plurality of suction pipes for sucking the yarn waste at positions corresponding to the plurality of the winding devices in each stage,
    • each of the plurality of suction pipes is connected to a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe to suck the yarn waste generated by the corresponding winding device and transfer the yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit at one end side of the yarn waste transfer pipe and a state of stopping the supply,
    • each of a plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer when the corresponding winding device is performing the doffing operation,
    • each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes is connected at another end side to an auxiliary compressed air switching valve that switches between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe to assist in transferring the yarn waste toward the yarn waste collection unit and a state of stopping the supply,
    • the auxiliary compressed air switching valve for the yarn waste transfer pipe in each stage is switched to a state of supplying the auxiliary compressed air when at least one of the plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer,
    • the doffing operations of the plurality of the winding devices are performed, for each winding device, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two of the winding devices, and
    • an order of the doffing operations of the plurality of the winding devices is set, or can be set, such that the doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of the winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of the winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in another stage.
  • In the above-described first aspect of the textile machine, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices are performed, for each winding device, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices. Specifically, in a textile machine equipped with a yarn waste collection device configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to suction pipes provided at positions corresponding to the winding devices to suck yarn waste and to supply auxiliary compressed air to yarn waste transfer pipes, each provided in a plurality of stages and connected to a plurality of suction pipes, the sequence doffing method is employed. In this textile machine, when the doffing operation is performed in the winding device arranged in one stage, and then, after a predetermined interval, the doffing operation is performed in the winding device arranged in another stage, with the doffing operations being switched in the sequence doffing method, a situation repeatedly occurs where the doffing operation in the winding device of one stage overlaps with the doffing operation in the winding device of another stage. However, according to the above-described first aspect of the textile machine, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices is set such that the doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in another stage. Therefore, the doffing operations in the sequence doffing method are performed sequentially in the plurality of winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in the same stage. As a result, even when the doffing operations are performed overlappingly in the plurality of winding devices, auxiliary compressed air can be supplied to only the yarn waste transfer pipe in the same stage to transfer the yarn waste. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the simultaneous supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipes in a plurality of stages, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • As described above, according to the above-described first aspect of the textile machine, in a textile machine provided with a yarn waste collection device configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to suction pipes provided at positions corresponding to winding devices to suck yarn waste and to supply auxiliary compressed air to a yarn waste transfer pipe provided in each of a plurality of stages and connected to a plurality of suction pipes, the consumption of compressed air can be suppressed when the sequence doffing method is employed.
  • A second aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described first aspect, wherein
it is preferable that the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of the winding devices is set, or can be set, such that the doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of the winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of the winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in another stage.
  • According to the above-described second aspect of the textile machine, since the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices is set, or can be set, such that the doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe in another stage, the simultaneous supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipes in a plurality of stages can be further suppressed, thereby further reducing compressed air consumption.
  • A third aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described first or second aspect, wherein
it is preferable that the auxiliary compressed air switching valve for the yarn waste transfer pipe in each stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of the auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage are in a predetermined switching state, even if at least one of the plurality of the winding devices in the stage is performing the doffing operation.
  • According to the above-described third aspect of the textile machine, even when at least one of the plurality of winding devices of a stage is performing the doffing operation, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of the stage are in a predetermined switching state. Therefore, in a case of a predetermined switching state where compressed air for suction transfer is sufficiently supplied from the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer connected to a stage, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be stopped, and the excessive supply of the compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste can be suppressed, and the consumption of compressed air can be further suppressed.
  • A fourth aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described third aspect, wherein
it is preferable that a case where a plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of one stage are in the predetermined switching state is when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer, and in this case, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of the auxiliary compressed air.
  • According to the above-described fourth aspect of the textile machine, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of a stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped. Therefore, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in a certain stage simultaneously supply compressed air for suction transfer, thereby sufficiently supplying the compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be stopped, and the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste can be suppressed, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • A fifth aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described third aspect, wherein
it is preferable that a case where a plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of one stage are in the predetermined switching state is when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer connected to the suction pipe within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit among the plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer, and in this case, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of the auxiliary compressed air.
  • According to the above-described fifth aspect of the textile machine, when, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of a stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer connected to the suction pipe within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped. Therefore, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from a suction pipe provided at a position close to the yarn waste collection unit within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit, and the compressed air for suction transfer alone can sufficiently transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be stopped, and the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste can be suppressed, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • A sixth aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described third aspect, wherein
it is preferable that a case where a plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of one stage are in the predetermined switching state is when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer, or when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer connected to the suction pipe within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit among the plurality of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer, and in either or both of these cases, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of the auxiliary compressed air.
  • According to the above-described sixth aspect of the textile machine, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of a stage simultaneously supply compressed air for suction transfer and the compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste is sufficiently supplied, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be stopped, and the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste can be suppressed, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air. Furthermore, according to the above-described sixth aspect of the textile machine, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer connected to the suction pipe provided at a position close to the yarn waste collection unit within a predetermined distance range and yarn waste can be sufficiently transferred to the yarn waste collection unit by only the compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be stopped, and the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste can be suppressed, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • A seventh aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described fourth aspect, wherein
it is preferable that the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is configured to be capable of adjusting a supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air and adjusts the supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air based on the number of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer.
  • According to the above-described seventh aspect of the textile machine, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, and when a plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer of a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, can perform adjustment of the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air according to the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, it is possible to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe in accordance with the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe, which varies depending on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and to suppress the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • An eighth aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described fifth aspect, wherein
it is preferable that the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air and adjusts a supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air based on a distance from the yarn waste collection unit of the suction pipe connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer in the stage that is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer.
  • According to the above-described eighth aspect of the textile machine, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, and when a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer of a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, can perform adjustment of the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air according to the distance from the yarn waste collection unit of the suction pipe connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, it is possible to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe of the suction pipe to which the auxiliary compressed air is connected, in accordance with the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit by the compressed air for suction transfer, which varies depending on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit of the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and to suppress the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • A ninth aspect of the present invention is the textile machine in the above-described fourth aspect, wherein
it is preferable that the auxiliary compressed air switching valve in the stage is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air and adjusts a supply amount of the auxiliary compressed air based on the number of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer in the stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer and a distance from the yarn waste collection unit of the suction pipe connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer in the stage that is switched to a state of supplying the compressed air for suction transfer.
  • According to the above-described ninth aspect of the textile machine, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be adjusted corresponding to the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe that varies according to the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and that the compressed air for transferring yarn waste is excessively supplied can be suppressed, and the consumption of compressed air can be suppressed. Furthermore, according to the above-described ninth aspect of the textile machine, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe can be adjusted corresponding to the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit by compressed air for suction transfer that varies according to the distance from the yarn waste collection unit of the suction pipe connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and that the compressed air for transferring yarn waste is excessively supplied can be suppressed, and the consumption of compressed air can be suppressed.
  • The textile machine according to the present invention may be configured solely with the above-described first aspect, or may be configured by arbitrarily combining the above-described first aspect with any of the above-described second to ninth aspects within a range where consistency can be achieved. When combining the above-described first aspect with any of the above-described second to ninth aspects, it is also possible to combine the above-described first aspect with all or part of the above-described second to ninth aspects within a range where consistency can be achieved.

The creel stand 11 has a plurality of yarn supply package holding units 12 provided corresponding to each of the plurality of spindles 10. In the creel stand 11, the yarn supply package holding units 12 are arranged in parallel across the vertical and horizontal directions. Each yarn supply package holding unit 12 is configured such that two yarn supply packages Ps can be attached and detached, and includes two package mounting portions 13.
  • Each of the two package mounting portions 13 in each yarn supply package holding unit 12 has a yarn supply package Ps mounted thereon. The yarn Y is unwound from the yarn supply package Ps mounted on one of the two package mounting portions and sent to the false-twist texturing unit 3. The trailing end of the yarn Y in the yarn supply package Ps mounted on one of the two package mounting portions 13 and the leading end of the yarn Y in the yarn supply package Ps mounted on the other of the two package mounting portions 13 are knotted (connected). Therefore, after the yarn supply package Ps mounted on one of the two package mounting portions 13 becomes empty, the yarn Y from the yarn supply package Ps mounted on the other of the two package mounting portions 13 is sent to the false-twist texturing unit 3 without interruption.
  • [False-Twist Texturing Unit]
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the false-twist texturing unit 3 is configured to unwind and process the yarn Y from the yarn supply package Ps of the yarn supply unit 2. The false-twist texturing unit 3 is configured to be arranged with, in order from the upstream side in the yarn traveling direction, which is the direction in which the yarn Y travels, a first feed roller 14, a twist-stop guide 15, a first heating device 16, a cooling device 17, a false-twist device 18, a second feed roller 19, a second heating device 20, and a third feed roller 21. These components of the false-twist texturing unit 3 are provided, for example, for each of the plurality of spindles 10.
  • The first feed roller 14 is configured to unwind the yarn Y from the yarn supply package Ps mounted on the yarn supply unit 2 and send it to the first heating device 16. The transport speed of the yarn Y by the first feed roller 14 is set to be substantially equal to the unwinding speed of the yarn Y from the yarn supply package Ps. The set value of the transport speed of the yarn Y by the first feed roller 14 is pre-stored in the machine management device 6. The twist-stop guide 15 is configured so that the twist imparted to the yarn Y by the false-twist device 18 does not propagate to the upstream side of the twist-stop guide 15 in the yarn traveling direction.
  • The first heating device 16 is configured to heat the yarn Y sent from the first feed roller 14. The cooling device 17 is configured to cool the yarn Y heated by the first heating device 16. The false-twist device 18 is configured to impart twist to the yarn Y. The false-twist device 18 is configured, for example, as a disc friction-type false-twist device. The second feed roller 19 is configured to send the yarn Y processed by the false-twist device 18 to the second heating device 20. The transport speed of the yarn Y by the second feed roller 19 is set to be faster than the transport speed of the yarn Y by the first feed roller 14. As a result, the yarn Y is drawn between the first feed roller 14 and the second feed roller 19. The set value of the transport speed of the yarn Y by the second feed roller 19 is pre-stored in the machine management device 6.
  • The second heating device 20 is configured to heat the yarn Y sent from the second feed roller 19. The second heating device 20 extends along the vertical direction. The third feed roller 21 is configured to send the yarn Y heated by the second heating device 20 to the winding device 4. The transport speed of the yarn Y by the third feed roller 21 is set to be slower than the transport speed of the yarn Y by the second feed roller 19. The yarn Y is relaxed between the second feed roller 19 and the third feed roller 21. The set value of the transport speed of the yarn Y by the third feed roller 21 is pre-stored in the machine management device 6.
  • In the false-twist texturing unit 3 configured as described above, the yarn Y drawn between the first feed roller 14 and the second feed roller 19 is twisted by the false-twist device 18. The twist formed by the false-twist device 18 propagates up to the twist-stop guide 15 but does not propagate to the upstream side of the twist-stop guide 15 in the yarn traveling direction. The yarn Y, which is drawn and twisted, is heated and heat-set by the first heating device 16 and then cooled by the cooling device 17. Downstream of the false-twist device 18, the yarn Y is untwisted, but the wavy false-twisted state of each filament is maintained by the above heat-setting. Furthermore, the yarn Y false-twisted by the false-twist device 18 is heat-set by the second heating device 20 while being relaxed between the second feed roller 19 and the third feed roller 21, and then guided to the downstream side in the yarn traveling direction. Finally, the yarn Y sent from the third feed roller 21 is wound onto a bobbin Bw by the winding device 4. In this way, a package Pw is formed.
  • [Winding Unit]
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the winding unit includes a plurality of winding devices 4, each configured to wind a yarn Y fed continuously from the false-twist texturing unit 3 onto a bobbin Bw to form a package Pw. The plurality of winding devices 4 are arranged in a column direction aligned horizontally and a stage direction aligned vertically. In other words, in the textile machine 1, the winding devices 4 are arranged in a configuration of a plurality of columns and a plurality of stages. In FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the column direction and stage direction are indicated by double-headed arrows and a circle with a central dot.
  • In this embodiment, an example is illustrated in which the winding devices 4 are arranged with four units in the column direction and five units in the stage direction. That is, in the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, the winding devices 4 are arranged in a configuration of four columns and five stages. As shown in FIG. 3, in this embodiment, a winding device 4 located in the "i-th" stage (where i is any of 1 to 5) and the "j-th" column (where j is any of 1 to 4) is also denoted as winding device 4ij. For example, the winding device 4 in the first stage and first column is also denoted as winding device 411, the winding device 4 in the first stage and second column is also denoted as winding device 412, the winding device 4 in the first stage and third column is also denoted as winding device 413, and the winding device 4 in the first stage and fourth column is also denoted as winding device 414. Similarly, for example, the winding device 4 in the third stage and first column is also denoted as winding device 431, the winding device 4 in the third stage and second column is also denoted as winding device 432, the winding device 4 in the third stage and third column is also denoted as winding device 433, and the winding device 4 in the third stage and fourth column is also denoted as winding device 434. The numbers of columns and stages of the winding devices 4 are not limited to the above examples and may be set to various numbers. That is, the winding devices 4 may be arranged in two to three columns or five or more columns and in two to four stages or six or more stages.
  • Each of the plurality of winding devices 4 includes a fulcrum guide 22, a traverse device 23, a cradle 24, and a winding roller 25. The fulcrum guide 22 serves as a guide that acts as a fulcrum when the yarn Y is traversed. The traverse device 23 is configured to traverse the yarn Y, for example, by a traverse guide 26 attached to an endless belt reciprocated by a motor. The cradle 24 is configured to rotatably support the bobbin Bw (i.e., rotatably support the package Pw). The winding roller 25 is configured to rotate the package Pw and apply contact pressure to the surface of the package Pw. The winding roller 25 is, for example, rotationally driven by a motor (not shown) while in contact with the surface of the package Pw. As a result, the package Pw is driven to rotate by frictional force, and contact pressure is applied to the surface of the package Pw to shape the package Pw. Alternatively, instead of the winding roller 25 being rotationally driven, the package Pw may be directly rotationally driven by a motor.
  • Each of the plurality of winding devices 4 is provided with an auto-doffer 27 as a configuration for performing a doffing operation to switch from a state of forming a package Pw to a state of winding the yarn Y onto a new bobbin Bw. In each of the plurality of winding devices 4, the doffing operation is performed by the auto-doffer 27, whereby the package Pw formed by winding the yarn Y onto the bobbin Bw is replaced with a new empty bobbin Bw onto which no yarn Y has been wound. The doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in a sequence doffing method, in which the doffing operations are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals (predetermined time intervals) and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices 4. The timing of the doffing operation in each winding device 4 is set by the machine management device 6.
  • The auto-doffer 27, which performs the doffing operation, is configured to remove the package Pw from the winding device 4 and mount an empty bobbin Bw onto the winding device 4. That is, the auto-doffer 27 is configured to replace the completed package Pw with an empty bobbin Bw in the winding device 4. The auto-doffer 27 also includes a cutter (not shown) capable of cutting the yarn Y just before being wound onto the package Pw in the vicinity of the package Pw. The formation of the package Pw is completed when the running yarn Y is cut by the cutter. In the textile machine 1, even during the doffing operation after the yarn is cut by the cutter, the yarn Y continues to be unwound from the yarn supply package Ps at a speed substantially equal to that during winding onto the bobbin Bw and is supplied to the winding device 4. In the textile machine 1, the yarn Y that is not wound onto the winding device 4 during the doffing operation performed by the auto-doffer 27 is collected as yarn waste by the yarn waste collection device 5, described later.
  • The auto-doffer 27 includes a stocker 27a. The stocker 27a is configured to temporarily store the package Pw that has been completed and removed from the winding device 4. The package Pw stored in the stocker 27a is collected by an operator. Additionally, a yarn threading device (not shown) is provided, for example, in the vicinity of the winding device 4. The yarn threading device is configured to thread the yarn Y onto an empty bobbin Bw mounted on the winding device 4.
  • In the winding device 4 configured as described above, the yarn Y sent from the third feed roller 21 is wound onto the bobbin Bw to form a package Pw. When the package Pw is formed and the predetermined timing for performing the doffing operation set in the machine management device 6 is reached, the auto-doffer 27 operates based on a command from the machine management device 6, and the doffing operation is performed by the auto-doffer 27 to switch from a state of forming the package Pw to a state of winding the yarn Y onto a new bobbin Bw. During the doffing operation, the yarn Y is cut by the cutter just before being wound onto the package Pw, and the yarn Y sent from the third feed roller 21 is sucked into a suction pipe 30 of the yarn waste collection device 5, described later, and the package Pw is removed from the cradle 24 by the auto-doffer 27, and subsequently, a new empty bobbin Bw is mounted onto the cradle 24 by the auto-doffer 27. Furthermore, the yarn Y sent from the third feed roller 21 and sucked into the suction pipe 30 is threaded onto the new bobbin Bw by the yarn threading device. When the yarn Y is threaded onto the bobbin Bw, the yarn Y is separated between the bobbin Bw and the suction pipe 30. Thus, it becomes possible to start winding the yarn Y onto the new bobbin Bw.
  • [Yarn Waste Collection Device]
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the yarn waste collection device 5 is provided as a device for collecting yarn waste (including fiber debris) generated by the winding device 4. As described above, the yarn waste collection device 5 is configured to collect yarn waste generated as the yarn Y fed continuously to the winding device 4 during the doffing operation. The doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals (predetermined time intervals) and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices 4, with the timing of the doffing operation in each winding device 4 being set by the machine management device 6. In a winding device 4 forming a package Pw, when the predetermined timing for performing the doffing operation set in the machine management device 6 is reached, the yarn waste collection control device 7 receives a doffing operation start signal from the machine management device 6, and the yarn waste collection control device 7 detects the winding device 4 targeted for yarn waste collection at the timing of the doffing operation. When the yarn waste collection control device 7 detects the winding device 4 targeted for yarn waste collection, it operates the yarn waste collection device 5 to collect the yarn waste generated by that winding device 4. By operating the yarn waste collection device 5 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the yarn waste generated as the yarn Y continuously supplied to the winding device 4 during the doffing operation is collected by the yarn waste collection device 5. When the doffing operation is completed and the winding of the yarn Y onto a new bobbin Bw is resumed, the collection of yarn waste by the yarn waste collection device 5 is stopped. The yarn waste collection device 5 will be described in detail below.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the yarn waste collection device 5 includes a plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 and a yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • The yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is provided along the arrangement direction of the plurality of winding devices 4 in each of a plurality of stages. That is, the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 are arranged corresponding to each stage of the winding devices 4, which are arranged in a plurality of stages in the vertical direction, being the stage direction, and each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 corresponding to each stage of the winding devices 4 is arranged to extend along the column direction, which is the direction in which the winding devices 4 are aligned in each stage. In this embodiment, the winding devices 4 are arranged in four stages, and the yarn waste transfer pipes 28 are provided corresponding to each stage, with four yarn waste transfer pipes 28 extending along the column direction. Each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 corresponding to each stage of the winding devices 4 sucks and transfers yarn waste from the vicinity of each winding device 4 aligned in the column direction in the stage. Each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to the yarn waste collection unit 29. As described later, the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is configured as a pipe which is supplied with compressed air and through which compressed air flows to transfer yarn waste toward one end side connected to the yarn waste collection unit 29. The yarn waste transferred through each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is sent to the yarn waste collection unit 29 and collected by the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • The yarn waste collection unit 29 is connected to one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28, and one or a plurality of yarn waste collection units 29 are provided. In this embodiment, an example is illustrated in which one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to a single yarn waste collection unit 29. The yarn waste collection unit 29 is configured as a yarn waste collection container into which compressed air transferring the yarn waste flows from the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. The yarn waste collection unit 29 is provided with an opening (not shown) that opens to the outside, and the opening is provided with a mesh (not shown) that allows the passage of compressed air while restricting the passage of yarn waste. When compressed air transferring the yarn waste flows from the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 into the yarn waste collection unit 29, the compressed air is discharged to the outside through the opening of the yarn waste collection unit 29. On the other hand, the yarn waste that flows into the yarn waste collection unit 29 from the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 along with the compressed air is restricted from flowing out of the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the mesh. Therefore, only the compressed air flowing into the yarn waste collection unit 29 from the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 flows out to the outside, and the yarn waste flowing in with the compressed air is collected in the yarn waste collection unit 29. In this embodiment, an example is illustrated in which the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 are connected to a single yarn waste collection unit 29, but this is not limiting. A configuration may be implemented in which one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to a respective one of a plurality of yarn waste collection units 29. That is, a configuration may be implemented in which a plurality of yarn waste collection units 29 are provided, and each of the plurality of yarn waste collection units 29 is connected to a respective one of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28.
  • The configuration related to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 will be described in further detail. Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 3, the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is configured as a pipe for sucking the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 and transferring it to the yarn waste collection unit 29. Each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to a plurality of suction pipes 30 for sucking yarn waste (the yarn Y fed continuously from the false-twist texturing unit 3 during the doffing operation) at positions corresponding to the plurality of winding devices 4 in each stage. The plurality of suction pipes 30 connected to each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 are provided in alignment along the longitudinal direction of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. The plurality of suction pipes 30 provided in alignment in each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 are provided at positions corresponding to the plurality of winding devices 4 aligned in the column direction in each stage to which each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 corresponds. Each of the plurality of suction pipes 30 is connected to a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 to suck the yarn waste generated by the corresponding winding device 4 and transfer the yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 at one end side of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and a state of stopping the supply.
  • The configuration of the plurality of suction pipes 30 connected to each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 will be described in further detail. FIG. 4 and FIG. 5 are diagrams showing the suction pipe 30 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the state of the suction pipe 30 when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 5 is a diagram showing the state of the suction pipe 30 when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer. In FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and the suction pipe 30 are shown in cross-sectional views. Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the suction pipe 30 is provided as a tubular member for sucking yarn waste, has a pipe diameter smaller than that of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, and is provided to extend with a bend midway. The suction pipe 30 has one end side communicating with the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and the other end side provided with a suction inlet 30a for sucking yarn waste. The suction inlet 30a of the suction pipe 30 opens toward the outside. The suction inlet 30a of the suction pipe 30 is disposed in a region near the winding device 4. More specifically, the suction inlet 30a is provided to face the region of the yarn Y traversed by the traverse guide 26 of the traverse device 23 with the fulcrum guide 22 as a fulcrum. The end portion on one end side of the suction pipe 30 is connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, and an outlet opening 30b opens at the end portion on one end side of the suction pipe 30. The suction pipe 30 communicates with the interior of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 at the outlet opening 30b. Inside the suction pipe 30, a suction flow path 30c is formed extending from the suction inlet 30a to the outlet opening 30b. As described later, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the suction pipe 30, yarn waste is sucked from the suction inlet 30a, and the sucked yarn waste moves through the suction flow path 30c and flows into the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 from the outlet opening 30b.
  • The suction pipe 30 is connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in a state of being inclined obliquely. The suction pipe 30 is connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 at an angle such that it is obliquely connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 along the direction toward one end side connected to the yarn waste collection unit 29 in the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the suction pipe 30, the yarn waste sucked from the suction inlet 30a and moved through the suction flow path 30c flows into the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 from the outlet opening 30b in a manner following the flow of compressed air for suction transfer that flows into the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and flows toward the yarn waste collection unit 29 in the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. The yarn waste that has flowed into the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is transferred to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the flow of compressed air flowing in the yarn waste transfer pipe 28.
  • The suction pipe 30 is also provided with injection nozzle holes 30d and a guide path 30e. The injection nozzle holes 30d are provided as nozzle holes for injecting compressed air for suction transfer into the suction pipe 30 between one end side where the outlet opening 30b is provided and the other end side where the suction inlet 30a is provided. The injection nozzle holes 30d are configured to inject compressed air for suction transfer toward one end side, which is the outlet opening 30b side, in the suction pipe 30. In this embodiment, two injection nozzle holes 30d are provided. Both of the two injection nozzle holes 30d extend from the suction inlet 30a side toward the outlet opening 30b side and from the outer peripheral side toward the inner peripheral side of the suction pipe 30, thereby communicating with the suction flow path 30c. With this configuration, both of the two injection nozzle holes 30d are configured to inject compressed air for suction transfer toward the outlet opening 30b side in the suction pipe 30.
  • The guide path 30e of the suction pipe 30 is provided as a compressed air flow path extending annularly along the circumferential direction of the suction pipe 30 in the suction pipe 30. The guide path 30e communicates with the injection nozzle holes 30d and also communicates with a cylinder chamber 35 of an opening/closing mechanism 32 described later. Compressed air for suction transfer supplied to the cylinder chamber 35 described later flows into the guide path 30e and further flows into the injection nozzle holes 30d to be injected into the suction flow path 30c.
  • Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the suction pipe 30 is provided with an opening/closing mechanism 32 for opening and closing the suction inlet 30a. The opening/closing mechanism 32 includes a main body portion 33, an opening/closing member 34, a cylinder chamber 35, a piston 36, a spring member 37, and the like. The main body portion 33 is provided as a block-shaped member and is integrally fixed to the suction pipe 30. The main body portion 33 is provided with the cylinder chamber 35, and further, the main body portion 33 swingably supports the opening/closing member 34 and also supports the piston 36 and the spring member 37.
  • The opening/closing member 34 is provided as a member for opening and closing the suction inlet 30a of the suction pipe 30 and is swingably attached to the main body portion 33. The opening/closing member 34 is provided with a flat lid portion 38a and supported portions 38b extending on both sides of the lid portion 38a while bending relative to the lid portion 38a. As shown in FIG. 4, the lid portion 38a opens the suction inlet 30a by being positioned at a position separated from the suction inlet 30a of the suction pipe 30. As shown in FIG. 5, the lid portion 38a closes the suction inlet 30a by being positioned at a position abutting and blocking the suction inlet 30a. The supported portions 38b are provided integrally with the lid portion 38a and are swingably supported relative to the main body portion 33 via a support shaft 38c. As the supported portions 38b swing around the support shaft 38c relative to the main body portion 33, the lid portion 38a displaces between a position opening the suction inlet 30a and a position closing it.
  • The cylinder chamber 35 is formed as a cylindrical space inside the main body portion 33 and is configured to be supplied with compressed air. The cylinder chamber 35 communicates with the guide path 30e of the suction pipe 30 via a communication path 35a provided inside the main body portion 33. Therefore, compressed air for suction transfer supplied to the cylinder chamber 35 flows into the guide path 30e and further into the injection nozzle holes 30d. The cylinder chamber 35 is connected, via a compressed air supply pipe 39, to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 and a state of stopping the supply. The compressed air supply pipe 39 is connected to a compressed air supply source 100 (see FIG. 3) that supplies compressed air. When the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30, compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the cylinder chamber 35. When the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30, the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the cylinder chamber 35 is stopped.
  • The piston 36 is provided as a member for swinging the opening/closing member 34 such that the opening/closing member 34 displaces from a position closing the suction inlet 30a to a position opening it. The piston 36 is slidably inserted and disposed in the cylinder chamber 35. The cylinder chamber 35 opens upward, and the piston 36 is inserted into the cylinder chamber 35 from above. The piston 36 is disposed with its upper end portion protruding from the cylinder chamber 35, and the upper end portion of the piston 36 protruding from the cylinder chamber 35 is provided to be capable of abutting the lid portion 38a of the opening/closing member 34. When the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer, as shown in FIG. 5, the piston 36 moves downward in the cylinder chamber 35, and the opening/closing member 34 closes the suction inlet 30a. In this state, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer and compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the cylinder chamber 35, the pressure in the cylinder chamber 35 rises, and the piston 36 displaces so as to be pushed upward. When the piston 36 displaces upward, as shown in FIG. 4, the upper end portion of the piston 36 abuts the lid portion 38a of the opening/closing member 34 and pushes up the lid portion 38a, so as to swing the opening/closing member 34 so as to rotate around the support shaft 38c. As a result, the opening/closing member 34 displaces from a position closing the suction inlet 30a to a position opening it.
  • The spring member 37 is provided as a spring member for swinging the opening/closing member 34 such that the opening/closing member 34 displaces from a position opening the suction inlet 30a to a position closing it. The spring member 37 is disposed in a spring chamber 40 formed in the main body portion 33. The spring chamber 40 opens upward, and the spring member 37 is disposed in the spring chamber 40 with its upper end portion protruding outside from the spring chamber 40 and extending upward. Furthermore, the upper end portion of the spring member 37 is connected to the lid portion 38a of the opening/closing member 34, and the spring member 37 is configured to bias the lid portion 38a upward. The spring chamber 40 and the cylinder chamber 35 are disposed on opposite sides with the support shaft 38c of the opening/closing member 34 interposed therebetween. Therefore, the spring member 37 and the piston 36 are disposed on opposite sides with the support shaft 38c of the opening/closing member 34 interposed therebetween. As a result, the spring member 37 biases the opening/closing member 34 to swing in a direction opposite to the direction in which the piston 36 swings the opening/closing member 34. When the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, as shown in FIG. 4, the piston 36 displaces upward in the cylinder chamber 35 and pushes up the lid portion 38a, and the opening/closing member 34 opens the suction inlet 30a. In this state, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer and the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the cylinder chamber 35 is cut off, the pressure in the cylinder chamber 35 decreases, and the piston 36 displaces downward. When the piston 36 displaces downward, as shown in FIG. 5, the opening/closing member 34 swings due to the biasing force of the spring member 37, and the opening/closing member 34 displaces from a position opening the suction inlet 30a to a position closing it. In the state of FIG. 5, the yarn Y sent to the winding device 4 and traversed by the traverse guide 26 exists directly above the opening/closing member 34. When the opening/closing member 34 is in the state of FIG. 4, the yarn Y is guided between the suction inlet 30a and the opening/closing member 34. The aforementioned cutter is provided to cut the yarn Y between the suction inlet 30a and the traverse guide 26. The cutter is connected to the opening/closing member 34 and configured to operate in conjunction with the opening/closing member 34. The cutter does not contact the yarn Y traversed by the traverse guide 26 when the opening/closing member 34 is in the state of FIG. 5, but contacts the yarn Y and cuts the yarn Y when the opening/closing member 34 is in the state of FIG. 4. In the state of FIG. 4, the yarn Y sent to the winding device 4 and traversed by the traverse guide 26 is positioned between the suction inlet 30a and the opening/closing member 34. Therefore, when cut by the cutter, the yarn Y on the false-twist texturing unit 3 side is sucked into the suction inlet 30a, and the yarn Y on the winding device 4 side is wound onto the package Pw. • In the suction pipe 30, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer, compressed air for suction transfer is not supplied to the cylinder chamber 35, and as shown in FIG. 5, the opening/closing member 34 closes the suction inlet 30a due to the biasing force of the spring member 37. In this state, the suction pipe 30 does not perform the suction operation for yarn waste. On the other hand, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the cylinder chamber 35, and as shown in FIG. 4, the piston 36 displaces upward and pushes up the opening/closing member 34, and the opening/closing member 34 opens the suction inlet 30a. Furthermore, in the state where compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the cylinder chamber 35, the compressed air for suction transfer flows into the injection nozzle holes 30d and is injected from the injection nozzle holes 30d into the suction flow path 30c of the suction pipe 30. The compressed air for suction transfer injected into the suction flow path 30c is injected toward the outlet opening 30b side. As a result, by the compressed air for suction transfer injected into the suction pipe 30 from the injection nozzle holes 30d, an airflow that sends yarn waste toward the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 side is generated in the suction pipe 30, and yarn waste is sucked from the suction inlet 30a.
  • Each of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the plurality of suction pipes 30 is provided, for example, as a solenoid valve and is connected to the suction pipe 30 via a compressed air supply pipe 39. As described above, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is provided as a switching valve that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 to suck the yarn waste generated by the corresponding winding device 4 and transfer the yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 at one end side of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and a state of stopping the supply. The compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is electrically connected to the yarn waste collection control device 7 and operates under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7. That is, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 and a state of stopping the supply based on control commands from the yarn waste collection control device 7. Each of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer based on control commands from the yarn waste collection control device 7 when the corresponding winding device 4 is performing a doffing operation.
  • In a winding device 4 forming a package Pw, when the predetermined timing for performing a doffing operation set in the machine management device 6 is reached, the yarn waste collection control device 7 receives a doffing operation start signal from the machine management device 6, and the yarn waste collection control device 7 detects the winding device 4 targeted for yarn waste collection at the timing of the doffing operation. Upon detecting the winding device 4 targeted for yarn waste collection, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sends a control command to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4, controlling the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 to switch to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30. By switching the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation, and the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation is sucked from the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4. At this step, the yarn Y fed continuously from the false-twist texturing unit 3 is sucked by the suction pipe 30. Subsequently, when the yarn Y fed continuously from the false-twist texturing unit 3 and sucked by the suction pipe 30 is threaded onto a new bobbin Bw by the yarn threading device, the yarn Y is separated between the bobbin Bw and the suction pipe 30. As a result, the yarn Y fed continuously from the false-twist texturing unit 3 and sucked by the suction pipe 30 becomes yarn waste, is transferred from the suction pipe 30 through the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, and is collected by the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • When the doffing operation in the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation is completed, the yarn waste collection control device 7 receives a doffing operation end signal from the machine management device 6. Upon receiving the doffing operation end signal, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sends a control command to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4, controlling the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 to switch to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30. By switching the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 that has completed the doffing operation is stopped. In the winding device 4 that has completed the doffing operation, the winding of the yarn Y onto a new bobbin Bw is resumed, and by stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer to the corresponding suction pipe 30, the collection of yarn waste is also stopped.
  • As described above, one end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to the yarn waste collection unit 29. On the other end side of each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28, an auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is connected, which switches between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 to assist in transferring yarn waste toward the yarn waste collection unit 29 and a state of stopping the supply. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is connected to the other end side of each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and is also connected to a compressed air supply source 100 that supplies compressed air via a compressed air supply system 100a. Therefore, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to be capable of supplying compressed air supplied from the compressed air supply source 100 as auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 from the other end side of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by being switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air. The compressed air supply source 100 is configured as a supply source for supplying compressed air consumed by various devices, including the textile machine 1, installed in the factory where the textile machine 1 is located. The compressed air supply source 100 includes, for example, a compressor and a compressed air storage tank, and generates and delivers compressed air. The compressed air generated by the compressed air supply source 100 is supplied to the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 via the compressed air supply system 100a, and when the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air, it is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 as auxiliary compressed air.
  • Each auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 provided for each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is provided, for example, as a solenoid valve and is connected to each yarn waste transfer pipe 28 at the other end side opposite to one end side connected to the yarn waste collection unit 29. As described above, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is provided as a switching valve that switches between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 to assist in transferring yarn waste toward the yarn waste collection unit 29 and a state of stopping the supply. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is electrically connected to the yarn waste collection control device 7 and operates under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7. That is, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and a state of stopping the supply based on control commands from the yarn waste collection control device 7. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in each stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air based on control commands from the yarn waste collection control device 7 when at least one of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Additionally, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. That is, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is also configured as an auxiliary compressed air supply amount switching valve capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. When the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 based on control commands from the yarn waste collection control device 7, and further, the valve opening is switched to change the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 configured as an auxiliary compressed air supply amount switching valve may be configured, for example, to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air in two or more steps. Alternatively, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 may be configured to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air continuously rather than stepwise.
  • When a doffing operation is performed in a winding device 4 arranged in a certain stage and a certain column, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30. When the yarn waste collection control device 7 controls the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 to switch to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, it sends a control command to the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage corresponding to that compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31, controlling the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 to switch to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. By switching the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, auxiliary compressed air is further supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 to which compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation via the suction pipe 30.
  • When the doffing operation in the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation is completed, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer. When the yarn waste collection control device 7 controls the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 to switch to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer, if all of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage corresponding to that compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 are in a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sends a control command to the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage, controlling the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 to switch to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. By switching the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage where all of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the plurality of suction pipes 30 connected to that yarn waste transfer pipe 28 have stopped the supply of compressed air for suction transfer is also stopped.
  • [Doffing Operation in Sequence Doffing Method]
  • Next, the manner in which the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in the textile machine 1 will be described. In each of the plurality of winding devices 4, the doffing operation is performed each time a package Pw (referred to as a full package) having a predetermined length of yarn Y is formed by winding the yarn Y onto a bobbin Bw for a predetermined time. Additionally, in the textile machine 1 of the present invention, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in a sequence doffing method, in which the doffing operations are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals (predetermined time intervals), and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices 4. The timing of the doffing operation in each winding device 4 when the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed by the sequence doffing method is set by the machine management device 6. The machine management device 6 stores the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 and the timing of the doffing operation in each winding device 4 in the sequence doffing method, and based on this order and timing, commands each winding device 4 to operate the auto-doffer 27 of each winding device 4 to perform the doffing operation.
  • In the machine management device 6, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 and the timing of performing the doffing operation in each winding device 4 are set so that the doffing operations are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in two or more winding devices 4. Furthermore, in the machine management device 6, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that the doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. The doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed based on commands from the machine management device 6 in accordance with the order set in this manner. Therefore, referring to FIG. 3, for example, the doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 (411 to 414) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the first stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations are performed in the plurality of winding devices 4 (421 to 424) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the second stage, which is another stage. When the doffing operations are performed in the plurality of winding devices 4 (411 to 414) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the first stage, for example, the doffing operation is performed in the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column, then, after a predetermined interval, the doffing operation is performed in the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column, and thereafter, after a predetermined interval, the doffing operation is performed in the winding device 413 in the first stage and third column, and further, after a predetermined interval, the doffing operation is performed in the winding device 414 in the first stage and fourth column. Thus, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (411 to 414) are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals. Additionally, when the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, the predetermined interval is set so that the doffing operations are performed overlappingly in two or more winding devices 4.
  • In this embodiment, in the machine management device 6, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that the doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. Therefore, referring to FIG. 3, for example, the doffing operations are performed sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (411 to 414) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the first stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations are performed sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (421 to 424) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the second stage, which is another stage. Furthermore, when the doffing operations are performed sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (421 to 424) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the second stage, thereafter, the doffing operations are performed sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (431 to 434) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the third stage, which is another stage.
  • FIG. 6 is a diagram schematically showing a plurality of winding devices 4 and a yarn waste collection device 5, used to explain the manner in which doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in the textile machine 1. In FIG. 6, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 set in the machine management device 6 is schematically indicated by dashed arrows. FIG. 6 illustrates an example of the order in which the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in the textile machine 1.
  • Referring to FIG. 6, in the textile machine 1, based on commands from the machine management device 6, for example, the doffing operation of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column is started first. When the doffing operation of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column is started, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 411 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, which receives a doffing operation start signal from the machine management device 6, and the yarn waste generated by the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column is collected. After the doffing operation of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column is started, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column is started based on a command from the machine management device 6. At the timing when the doffing operation of the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column is started, the doffing operation of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column is still ongoing, and thus the doffing operations of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column and the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column are performed overlappingly. When the doffing operation of the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column is started, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 412 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, which receives a doffing operation start signal from the machine management device 6, and the yarn waste generated by the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column is collected.
  • After the doffing operation of the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column is started, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 413 in the first stage and third column is started based on a command from the machine management device 6. At this timing, for example, if the doffing operation of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column, as well as the doffing operation of the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column, are still ongoing, the doffing operations of the winding device 411 in the first stage and first column, the winding device 412 in the first stage and second column, and the winding device 413 in the first stage and third column are performed overlappingly. Subsequently, similarly, after the doffing operation of the winding device 413 in the first stage and third column is started, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 414 in the first stage and fourth column is started based on a command from the machine management device 6. When doffing operations are performed in the winding devices 413 and 414, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding devices 413 and 414, respectively, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, and the yarn waste is collected.
  • As described above, when doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (411 to 414) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the first stage, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (421 to 424) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the second stage are performed sequentially. After the doffing operation of the winding device 414 in the first stage and fourth column is started, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 421 in the second stage and first column is started based on a command from the machine management device 6. After the doffing operation of the winding device 421 in the second stage and first column is started, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 422 in the second stage and second column is started based on a command from the machine management device 6. Similarly, each time a predetermined time interval elapses, the doffing operations of the winding device 423 in the second stage and third column and the winding device 424 in the second stage and fourth column are performed sequentially based on commands from the machine management device 6. When doffing operations are performed in each of the winding devices 421 to 424, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipes 30 corresponding to each of the winding devices 421 to 424 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, and the yarn waste is collected.
  • As described above, when doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (421 to 424) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the second stage, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (431 to 434) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the third stage are performed. The doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (431 to 434) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the third stage are performed sequentially each time a predetermined time interval elapses in a similar manner. Specifically, the doffing operation of the winding device 431 in the third stage and first column is performed first, then, at a timing after a predetermined time interval has elapsed, the doffing operation of the winding device 432 in the third stage and second column is performed, and similarly, each time a predetermined time interval elapses, the doffing operations of the winding device 433 in the third stage and third column and the winding device 434 in the third stage and fourth column are performed sequentially based on commands from the machine management device 6. When doffing operations are performed in each of the winding devices 431 to 434, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipes 30 corresponding to each of the winding devices 431 to 434 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, and the yarn waste is collected.
  • When doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 (431 to 434) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the third stage, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (441 to 444) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the fourth stage are performed. The doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 (441 to 444) arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the fourth stage are also performed sequentially each time a predetermined time interval elapses in a similar manner. That is, each time a predetermined time interval elapses, the doffing operations are performed in the order of the winding device 441 in the fourth stage and first column, the winding device 442 in the fourth stage and second column, the winding device 443 in the fourth stage and third column, and the winding device 444 in the fourth stage and fourth column. When doffing operations are performed in each of the winding devices 441 to 444, the yarn waste collection device 5 operates to suck yarn waste from the suction pipes 30 corresponding to each of the winding devices 441 to 444 under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, and the yarn waste is collected.
  • As described above, in the textile machine 1, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. Furthermore, in the textile machine 1, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. The textile machine 1 may be configured such that the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set or can be set as described above. Therefore, the textile machine 1 may be configured to allow selection between the order of the doffing operations in the sequence doffing method according to the present invention and the order of the doffing operations in a conventional sequence doffing method, or it may be settable to an order other than these orders. Furthermore, it may be configured to be settable not only for the sequence doffing method but also for a random doffing method, in which the doffing operation is performed in any one of the plurality of winding devices 4 each time the formation of the package Pw is completed in that winding device 4.
  • The order of performing doffing operations in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage does not need to have regularity, but as illustrated in the above embodiment, it is preferable to have regularity. In this case, it is preferable that the doffing operation transitions to the adjacent winding device 4 in the same stage. Moreover, when transitioning the doffing operation from the winding device 4 in one stage to the winding device 4 in another stage, regularity is not necessary, but it is preferable to have regularity. In this case, it is preferable that the doffing operation transitions to the winding device 4 in the stage immediately above or below.
  • [Compressed Air Supply Mode in Yarn Waste Collection Device]
  • Next, the compressed air supply mode in the yarn waste collection device 5 of the textile machine 1 will be further described. As already described in detail, the yarn waste collection device 5 includes a plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 provided along the plurality of winding devices 4 in each stage, and each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to a plurality of suction pipes 30 that suck yarn waste at positions corresponding to the plurality of winding devices 4 in each stage. Furthermore, each of the plurality of suction pipes 30 is connected to a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that switches between a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30 to suck the yarn waste generated by the corresponding winding device 4 and transfer it within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and a state of stopping the supply. Each of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7 when the corresponding winding device 4 is performing a doffing operation. Therefore, when a doffing operation is performed in a certain winding device 4, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to that winding device 4 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, whereby the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation is sucked from the suction pipe 30 corresponding to that winding device 4, transferred through the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, and collected by the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • As already described in detail, in the yarn waste collection device 5, each of the plurality of yarn waste transfer pipes 28 is connected to an auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 that switches between a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 to assist in transferring yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 and a state of stopping the supply. The auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in each stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7 when at least one of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, when a doffing operation is performed in a certain winding device 4, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to that winding device 4 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer to supply compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30, and simultaneously, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage corresponding to that winding device 4 is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, whereby the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 performing the doffing operation is transferred through the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 and collected by the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • As described above, in the yarn waste collection device 5 of the textile machine 1, basically under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when a doffing operation is performed in any winding device 4 in a certain stage, the corresponding compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to supply compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipe 30, and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage is switched to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. However, in the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, to suppress excessive supply of auxiliary compressed air, the yarn waste collection device 5 is configured to operate such that, even when a doffing operation is performed in a winding device 4, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air based on the switching state of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7. Specifically, in the textile machine 1, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in each stage is configured to be switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state, even if at least one of the plurality of winding devices 4 in the stage is performing a doffing operation. Additionally, in the textile machine 1, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in each stage is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, and it is also configured to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the status of the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer in the stage.
  • In the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, even when a winding device 4 in a certain stage is performing a doffing operation, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state. Furthermore, in the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air may be adjusted based on the status of the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer in the stage. The textile machine 1 of this embodiment is configured to execute any of the following first to sixth modes as the compressed air supply mode.
  • (First Mode)
  • First, the first mode will be described. In the textile machine 1 of the first mode, as described above, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, even when a winding device 4 in a certain stage is performing a doffing operation, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state. In the textile machine 1 of the first mode, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sets a condition where the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are in a predetermined switching state as being when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the textile machine 1 of the first mode, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • In the textile machine 1, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed in a sequence doffing method, where the doffing operations are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices 4. Additionally, in the textile machine 1, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that doffing operations are performed in the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. Therefore, a situation may occur where a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. In this case, since a predetermined number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 simultaneously supply compressed air for suction transfer, compressed air for suction transfer is simultaneously supplied from a predetermined number of suction pipes 30 to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, and a sufficient amount of compressed air to transfer yarn waste within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 without supplying auxiliary compressed air. Therefore, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. The condition of the "predetermined number" used to determine when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is appropriately set based on conditions such as the pipe diameter or length of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, or the flow rate or pressure of the supplied compressed air for suction transfer.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the first mode, where the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in a certain stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, will be further described. FIG. 7 is a diagram for explaining the switching modes of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 during the doffing operation of a winding device 4. This example illustrates a mode where the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in a certain stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.
  • FIG. 7(A) shows a case where it does not correspond to the time when three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and FIG. 7(B) shows a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The case shown in FIG. 7(A) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, two compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air. In this case, the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to those winding devices 4 and the auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • On the other hand, the case shown in FIG. 7(B) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in three winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. In this case, the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column.
  • (Second Mode)
  • Next, the second mode will be described. In the textile machine 1 of the second mode, as described above, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, even when a winding device 4 in a certain stage is performing a doffing operation, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state. In the textile machine 1 of the second mode, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sets a condition where the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are in a predetermined switching state as being when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the textile machine 1 of the second mode, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • When the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the suction pipe 30 located close to the yarn waste collection unit 29 within the predetermined distance range, and yarn waste can be sufficiently transferred to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using only the compressed air for suction transfer without supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. The condition of the "predetermined distance range" used to determine when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is appropriately set based on conditions such as the pipe diameter of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, or the flow rate or pressure of the supplied compressed air for suction transfer.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the second mode is further described, in which, in the case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. FIG. 8 is a diagram for explaining the switching configuration of the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 when the doffing operation of the winding device 4 is performed. In this example, a configuration is illustrated in which, in the case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. In this example, a configuration is illustrated in which, among the plurality of suction pipes 30 in a certain stage, the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column are arranged within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. A configuration is illustrated in which the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column are arranged at positions beyond a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • FIG. 8(A) shows a case where it does not correspond to the time when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and FIG. 8(B) shows a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The case shown in FIG. 8(A) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are arranged at positions beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. The compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 located at positions beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is not a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air.
8(B) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column performing the doffing operations are arranged within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. The compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 located within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. In this case, the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column.
  • (Third Mode)
  • Next, the third mode will be described. In the textile machine 1 of the third mode, as described above, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, even when a winding device 4 in a certain stage is performing a doffing operation, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state. In the textile machine 1 of the third mode, the yarn waste collection control device 7 sets the predetermined switching state of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage as being either the switching state of the first mode described above or the switching state of the second mode described above. Specifically, in the textile machine 1 of the third mode, the predetermined switching state is set as either when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. In the textile machine 1 of the third mode, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air in either case or in both cases: when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.
  • When a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, a sufficient amount of compressed air to transfer yarn waste within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 without supplying auxiliary compressed air. Additionally, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the suction pipe 30 located close to the yarn waste collection unit 29 within the predetermined distance range, and yarn waste can be sufficiently transferred to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using only the compressed air for suction transfer without supplying auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, in the case where at least one of the following holds: the case where a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or the case where, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. The condition of the "predetermined number" used to determine when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is appropriately set based on conditions such as the pipe diameter or length of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, or the flow rate or pressure of the supplied compressed air for suction transfer. In addition, the condition of the "predetermined distance range" used to determine when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is appropriately set based on conditions such as the pipe diameter of the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, or the flow rate or pressure of the supplied compressed air for suction transfer.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the third mode is further described, in which, in the case where either or both of the following hold: the case where a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or the case where, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. The example of the textile machine 1 of the third mode is described with reference to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8. In this example, a configuration is illustrated in which, in the case where either or both of the following hold: the case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or the case where, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. In this example described with reference to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, a configuration is illustrated in which, among the plurality of suction pipes 30 in a certain stage, the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column are arranged within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. A configuration is illustrated in which the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column are arranged at positions beyond a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29.
  • FIG. 7(A) and FIG. 8(A) show the same state and illustrate a case where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. Both the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column are arranged at positions beyond a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. That is, in the case shown in FIG. 7(A) and FIG. 8(A), the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 located at positions beyond a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and furthermore, this is not a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air.
  • In the case shown in FIG. 7(B), doffing operations are performed in three winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. Therefore, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Among the three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column is arranged within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 (in FIG. 7(B), the indication of the predetermined distance D is omitted). Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 7(B), the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, which is located within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29, is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 7(B), because this is a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and furthermore, this is also a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. In this case, the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column.
  • Furthermore, in the case shown in FIG. 8(B), doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. Therefore, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, two compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The suction pipes 30 connected to the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column are arranged within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 8(B), the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column, which are located within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29, are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, but this is a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • (Fourth Mode)
  • Next, the fourth mode will be described. The textile machine 1 of the fourth mode is configured similarly to the textile machine 1 of the first mode described above, and additionally, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, it is configured to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Specifically, the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is configured to be switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air, similar to the textile machine 1 of the first mode. Furthermore, the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41, which is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, is controlled to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.
  • When the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer in a certain stage changes, the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 also changes. That is, when the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is large, the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 increases, and when the number is small, the supply amount decreases. Therefore, depending on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air may be excessive or appropriate. On the other hand, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled to change the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 based on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, thereby adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. Therefore, in the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode, it is possible to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in accordance with the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, which varies depending on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. As a result, it is possible to suppress the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode is described, in which the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted in accordance with the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 9 is a diagram for explaining the switching configuration of the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 when the doffing operation of the winding device 4 is performed. In this example, a configuration is illustrated in which, in the case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air, and furthermore, in accordance with the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer being one or two, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched, thereby adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air.
  • FIG. 9(A) shows a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 9(B) shows a case where two compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 9(C) shows a case where one compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The case shown in FIG. 9(A) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in three winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage.
  • The case shown in FIG. 9(B) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. Furthermore, in this case, the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is two, and compared to the case where the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is one, a larger amount of compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled so that the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 becomes small, and the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted to supply a small amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the case shown in FIG. 9(B), the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to those winding devices 4 and a small amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • The case shown in FIG. 9(C) illustrates a case where a doffing operation is performed in only one winding device 4, namely the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, one compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operation is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Furthermore, in this case, the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is one, and compared to the case where the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is two, a smaller amount of compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, so the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled so that the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 becomes large, and the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted to supply a large amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the case shown in FIG. 9(C), the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to that winding device 4 and a large amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • (Fifth Mode)
  • Next, the fifth mode will be described. The textile machine 1 of the fifth mode is configured similarly to the textile machine 1 of the second mode described above, and additionally, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, it is configured to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in the stage that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Specifically, the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is configured to be switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air, similar to the textile machine 1 of the second mode. Furthermore, the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41, which is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, is controlled to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in the stage that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.
  • When the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer changes, the ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using compressed air for suction transfer varies due to the magnitude of the influence of pressure loss within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. That is, when the distance between the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31, which is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and the yarn waste collection unit 29 is relatively short, the degree of reduction in the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the compressed air for suction transfer is small. Conversely, when the distance between the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31, which is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and the yarn waste collection unit 29 is relatively long, the degree of reduction in the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the compressed air for suction transfer is large. Therefore, depending on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air may be excessive or appropriate. On the other hand, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled to change the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, thereby adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air. Therefore, in the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode, it is possible to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in accordance with the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the compressed air for suction transfer, which varies depending on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. As a result, it is possible to suppress the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode, which adjusts the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, will be described. FIG. 10 is a diagram for explaining the switching modes of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 during the doffing operation of a winding device 4. This example illustrates a mode where, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air, and further, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on whether the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2, or greater than the distance D+D2.
  • FIG. 10(A) shows a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 10(B) shows a case where, in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located at a distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 that is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. FIG. 10(C) shows a case where, in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located at a distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 that is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2 is switched to a state of stopping the supply of compressed air for suction transfer, and the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located at a distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 that is greater than the distance D+D2 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The case shown in FIG. 10(A) illustrates an example where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column performing the doffing operations are arranged within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. The compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. In this case, because this is a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • The case shown in FIG. 10(B) illustrates an example where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are arranged at positions beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. The compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 located beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. In this case, because this is not a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air. Further, in the case shown in FIG. 10(B), the winding device 4 in the third column is performing a doffing operation, and the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2. That is, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located at a distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 that is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. When the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is greater than the distance D but less than the distance D+D2, the distance between the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer and the yarn waste collection unit 29 is relatively short, and the degree of reduction in the ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using compressed air for suction transfer is small, resulting in a state where compressed air for suction transfer is effectively supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled so that the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 becomes small, and the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted to supply a small amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the case shown in FIG. 10(B), the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to those winding devices 4 and the small amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • The case shown in FIG. 10(C) illustrates an example where a doffing operation is performed in only one winding device 4, namely the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operation is arranged at a position beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. The compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. 10(C), only the winding device 4 in the fourth column is performing a doffing operation, and only the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column is greater than the distance D+D2. That is, only the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located at a distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 that is greater than the distance D+D2 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. When the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is greater than the distance D+D2, the distance between the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer and the yarn waste collection unit 29 is relatively long, and the degree of reduction in the ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using compressed air for suction transfer is large, resulting in a state where compressed air for suction transfer is hardly supplied effectively to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Therefore, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is controlled so that the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 becomes large, and the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted to supply a large amount of auxiliary compressed air. In the case shown in FIG. 10(C), the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to that winding device 4 and the large amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • (Sixth Mode)
  • Next, the sixth mode will be described. The textile machine 1 of the sixth mode is configured as a textile machine 1 that performs the operations of both the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode and the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode described above. That is, the textile machine 1 of the sixth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, in either case or in both cases, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in the stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air. The textile machine 1 of the sixth mode is configured such that, under the control of the yarn waste collection control device 7, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, it controls the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41, which is configured to be capable of adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, to adjust the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air based on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer and the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 in the stage that is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer.
  • Here, an example of the textile machine 1 of the sixth mode is described, in which, in the case where either or both of the following hold: the case where a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, or the case where, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air, and furthermore, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air is adjusted in accordance with the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer and the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Note that the example of the textile machine 1 of the sixth mode is described with reference to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10. Furthermore, in this example, a configuration is illustrated in which the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched, thereby adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, in accordance with the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 that are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer being one or two, and the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is switched, thereby adjusting the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, in accordance with the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer being greater than the distance D and less than the distance D+D2, or being greater than the distance D+D2.
  • The case shown in FIG. 10(A) illustrates a case where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In the case shown in FIG. 10(A), among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, two compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The suction pipes 30 connected to the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column are arranged within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. For this reason, in the case shown in FIG. 10(A), the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the first column and the winding device 4 in the second column, which are located within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29, are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. In this case, because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, but this is a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • In the case shown in FIG. 9(A), doffing operations are performed in three winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. For this reason, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in that stage, three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, the winding device 4 in the third column, and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Among the three compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column is arranged within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 (in FIG. 9(A), the indication of the predetermined distance D is omitted). Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 9(A), the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the second column, which is located within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29, is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 9(A), since this is a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and furthermore, this is also a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of stopping the supply of auxiliary compressed air.
  • FIG. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B) indicate the same state and illustrate an example where doffing operations are performed in two winding devices 4, namely the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage, the two compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding respectively to the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operations are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column and the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column are both arranged at positions beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. That is, in the case shown in FIG. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B), the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipes 30 located beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 are switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B), because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and furthermore, this is not a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air. Moreover, in the case shown in FIG. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B), the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer in the stage is two, resulting in a state where a large amount of compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Further, in the case shown in FIG. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B), the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the third column is greater than distance D but less than distance D+D2, and the degree of reduction in the ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by compressed air for suction transfer is small, resulting in a state where compressed air for suction transfer is effectively supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. 9(B) and FIG. 10(B), the yarn waste generated by the winding device 4 in the third column and the winding device 4 in the fourth column during the doffing operation is transferred within the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 by the compressed air for suction transfer supplied through the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 corresponding respectively to those winding devices 4 and the small amount of auxiliary compressed air supplied through the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41.
  • FIG. 9(C) and FIG. 10(C) indicate the same state and illustrate an example where a doffing operation is performed in only one winding device 4, namely the winding device 4 in the fourth column, among the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged in a certain stage. In this case, among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage, only the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column performing the doffing operation is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. The suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column is arranged at a position beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29. That is, in the case shown in FIG. 9(C) and FIG. 10(C), the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located beyond the predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, in the case shown in FIG. 9(C) and FIG. 10(C), because this is not a case where three or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, and furthermore, this is not a case where the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance D range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 in that stage is switched to a state of supplying auxiliary compressed air. Moreover, in the case shown in FIG. 9(C) and FIG. 10(C), the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer in the stage is one, resulting in a state where a small amount of compressed air for suction transfer is supplied to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. Further, in the case shown in FIG. 9(C) and FIG. 10(C), the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in the fourth column is greater than the distance D+D2, and the degree of reduction in the ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using compressed air for suction transfer is large, resulting in a state where compressed air for suction transfer is hardly supplied effectively to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28. 9(C) and FIG.
  • [Effects and Advantages]
  • In the textile machine 1 of the present embodiment described above, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 are performed, for each winding device 4, sequentially with a shift at predetermined intervals, and are performed overlappingly in at least two winding devices 4. That is, in the textile machine 1 equipped with the yarn waste collection device 5 configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipes 30 provided at positions corresponding to the winding devices 4 to suck yarn waste and to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 provided in each stage and connected to the plurality of suction pipes 30, a sequence doffing method is employed. In this textile machine 1, when the switching of doffing operations in the sequence doffing method is performed by performing a doffing operation in the winding device 4 arranged in one stage and performing a doffing operation sequentially in the winding device 4 arranged in another stage at predetermined intervals, a situation repeatedly occurs where the doffing operation of a winding device 4 in one stage overlaps with the doffing operation of a winding device 4 in another stage. In this case, the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in one stage and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in that stage operate to supply compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air, as well as the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 corresponding to the winding device 4 in another stage and the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 connected to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in that other stage operate to supply compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air. Therefore, both compressed air for suction transfer and auxiliary compressed air are supplied simultaneously to the yarn waste transfer pipes 28 in a plurality of stages, leading to an increase in compressed air consumption. However, according to the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set such that doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. Therefore, doffing operations in the sequence doffing method are performed sequentially in the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the same stage. Therefore, even in the case where doffing operations are performed overlappingly in a plurality of winding devices 4, auxiliary compressed air can be supplied only to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 of the same single stage to transfer the yarn waste. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the simultaneous supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipes 28 in a plurality of stages, thereby suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • As described above, according to this embodiment, in the textile machine 1 equipped with the yarn waste collection device 5 configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipes 30 provided at positions corresponding to the winding devices 4 to suck yarn waste and to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 provided in each stage and connected to the plurality of suction pipes 30, the consumption of compressed air can be suppressed when the sequence doffing method is employed.
  • Furthermore, according to the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, the order of the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 is set, or can be set, such that doffing operations are performed in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage. Therefore, it is possible to further suppress the simultaneous supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipes 28 in a plurality of stages and further suppress the consumption of compressed air.
  • Additionally, according to the textile machine 1 of this embodiment, even when at least one of the plurality of winding devices 4 in a certain stage is performing a doffing operation, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped when the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in the stage are in a predetermined switching state. Therefore, in the case of a predetermined switching state where a sufficient amount of compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 connected to a certain stage, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be stopped, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste and further suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Moreover, according to the textile machine 1 of the first mode described above in this embodiment, when a predetermined number or more of the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped. Therefore, when a sufficient amount of compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste is supplied by a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage simultaneously supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be stopped, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Furthermore, according to the textile machine 1 of the second mode described above in this embodiment, when the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 within a predetermined distance range from the yarn waste collection unit 29 among the plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air can be stopped. Therefore, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 located close to the yarn waste collection unit 29 within a predetermined distance range, and yarn waste can be sufficiently transferred to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using only the compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be stopped, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Furthermore, according to the textile machine 1 of the third mode described above in this embodiment, when a predetermined number or more of the compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 in a certain stage are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, thereby supplying a sufficient amount of compressed air necessary for transferring yarn waste, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be stopped, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air. Further, according to the textile machine 1 of the third mode, when compressed air for suction transfer is supplied from the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 connected to the suction pipe 30 provided in a position close to the yarn waste collection unit 29 within a predetermined distance range, and yarn waste can be sufficiently transferred to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using only the compressed air for suction transfer, the supply of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be stopped, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Furthermore, according to the textile machine 1 of the fourth mode described above in this embodiment, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to enable adjustment of the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, and when, in a certain stage, a plurality of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 are simultaneously switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air can be adjusted based on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 that are simultaneously switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be adjusted in accordance with the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, which varies depending on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 that are switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Furthermore, according to the textile machine 1 of the fifth mode described above in this embodiment, the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 is configured to enable adjustment of the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air, and when, in a certain stage, a compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 is switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air can be adjusted based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that is switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer. Therefore, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be adjusted in accordance with the transfer capability of yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 by the compressed air for suction transfer, which varies depending on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 that is switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • Furthermore according to the textile machine 1 of the sixth mode described above in this embodiment, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be adjusted in correspondence with the supply amount of compressed air for suction transfer to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28, which varies depending on the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 switched to the state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air. Further, according to the textile machine 1 of the sixth mode, the supply amount of auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 can be adjusted in correspondence with the varying ability to transfer yarn waste to the yarn waste collection unit 29 using compressed air for suction transfer based on the distance from the yarn waste collection unit 29 of the suction pipe 30 connected to the compressed air switching valve for suction transfer 31 switched to a state of supplying compressed air for suction transfer, suppressing the excessive supply of compressed air for transferring yarn waste and suppressing the consumption of compressed air.
  • The inventor conducted a verification of compressed air consumption by comparing an example of the present invention, in which doffing operations are performed in two or more of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and thereafter, the doffing operations proceed to the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in another stage, with a comparative example, in which a doffing operation is performed in a winding device 4 arranged in one stage, and a doffing operation is performed sequentially in a winding device 4 arranged in another stage at a predetermined interval. In the embodiment of the present invention, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 were performed sequentially in the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage and were performed overlappingly in two or more winding devices 4. In the comparative example, the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 were performed sequentially in the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the stage direction and were performed overlappingly in two or more winding devices 4. The conditions for verifying compressed air consumption in both the embodiment of the present invention and the comparative example were as follows: as the condition for performing both the embodiment and the comparative example, the false-twist texturing machine of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 3, i.e., a false-twist texturing machine (textile machine 1) with winding devices 4 arranged in four columns and five stages, was used. In both the embodiment and the comparative example, the maximum number of spindles 10 capable of performing doffing operations (i.e., the maximum number of winding devices 4 capable of performing doffing operations) was set to 6. Additionally, in both the embodiment and the comparative example, the maximum number of spindles 10 capable of performing doffing operations in one stage (i.e., the maximum number of winding devices 4 capable of performing doffing operations in one yarn waste transfer pipe 28) was set to 3. Furthermore, in both the embodiment and the comparative example, an auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 was provided for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in each stage, and when a doffing operation was performed in a spindle 10 belonging to a stage (i.e., a winding device 4 in the stage), the auxiliary compressed air switching valve 41 provided for the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage was activated to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the stage. In both the embodiment and the comparative example, the total number of operating switching valves was calculated by combining the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 operating to supply compressed air for suction transfer and the number of auxiliary compressed air switching valves 41 operating to supply auxiliary compressed air, and the compressed air consumption was verified by measuring the supply flow rate of compressed air consumed per unit time relative to the number of operating switching valves. The specific order of doffing operations in the embodiment of the present invention was as follows: winding device 411 in the first stage and first column -> winding device 412 in the first stage and second column -> winding device 413 in the first stage and third column -> winding device 414 in the first stage and fourth column -> winding device 421 in the second stage and first column -> winding device 422 in the second stage and second column -> ..., performing doffing operations sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in one stage, and then proceeding to the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 in the next stage. In contrast, the specific order in the comparative example was as follows: winding device 411 in the first stage and first column -> winding device 421 in the second stage and first column -> winding device 431 in the third stage and first column -> winding device 441 in the fourth stage and first column -> winding device 451 in the fifth stage and first column -> winding device 412 in the first stage and second column -> winding device 422 in the second stage and second column -> ..., performing doffing operations sequentially in all of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the stage direction in the same column, and then proceeding to the doffing operations of the plurality of winding devices 4 arranged along the stage direction in the next column.
  • FIG. 11 is a diagram showing the results of verifying compressed air consumption for the embodiment of the present invention and the comparative example. In FIG. 11, for both the embodiment of the present invention and the comparative example, the supply flow rate of compressed air consumed per unit time is shown relative to the total number of operating switching valves, which combines the number of compressed air switching valves for suction transfer 31 operating to supply compressed air for suction transfer and the number of auxiliary compressed air switching valves 41 operating to supply auxiliary compressed air. As a result of performing doffing operations in the order described above under the conditions mentioned, as shown in FIG. 11, the embodiment of the present invention resulted in the number of operating switching valves becoming fewer, and the supply flow rate of compressed air was also suppressed compared to the comparative example. Therefore, it was verified that, in the textile machine 1 equipped with the yarn waste collection device 5 configured to supply compressed air for suction transfer to the suction pipes 30 provided at positions corresponding to the winding devices 4 to suck yarn waste, and to supply auxiliary compressed air to the yarn waste transfer pipe 28 provided in each stage and connected to the plurality of suction pipes 30, the consumption of compressed air can be suppressed when the sequence doffing method is employed.
