Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • The invention relates to means for storing, stirring and mixing liquid compositions, and in particular to containers for storing, stirring and mixing paint.
  • BACKGROUND ART
  • Various types of liquids with high viscosity are stored, sold and stirred/mixed in containers. Such viscous liquids as paint are multi component compositions which tend to layer-out the components such as oil part and paint part and must me stirred prior to use for the paint composition to be well mixed again. Usually, the paint is sold in disposable containers with a re-closable top lid and bottom wall permanently sealed to side wall. The containers are usually made of plastic material or tin material and so that would minimise the cost of sold paint. The bottom wall and the lid are usually flexible - the thickness of container side wall, bottom and lid are just enough thought so that the container would not break easily and keep the paint airtight.
  • Prior to use of the paint the container is opened and subjected to stirring by stirring means which are immersed into the container thus stirring the base paint and if added some colour pigments. The paint can also be stirred and mixed using paint mixing machines where the paint container is clamped between two holding plates and afterwards subjected to gyroscopic or alike motion. In general, the stirring means are either stationary and bulky devices or low safety and messy handheld mixers. The stationary paint mixers are found only at paint sales stores because they are too expensive to purchase for one time paint jobs. And handheld mixers such as power drill with an attached mixing bit are messy and must be used with a certain amount of skill to stir the paint properly. Moreover the handheld device requires the entire lid or at least part of it to be opened burdening the user with splashing the paint wile mixing or inadvertently spilling the paint by toppling the container while mixing.
  • US patent application, publication No.: US2016107131 , discloses apparatuses and methods based thereon for mixing utilizing mixer inserts. A mixer insert may comprise an enclosing component adapted for application to an opening in a container to which the mixer insert is applied, to enclose a space in the container. The mixer insert may further comprise one or more mixing components, adapted to fit within the enclosed space when the enclosing component is applied to the opening in the container, with the one or more mixing components being configured to mix material placed within the enclosed space when the combination of the container and the mixer insert is subject to particular force or movement.
  • CN utility model, publication No.: CN208130944 discloses an emulsion paint rapid mixing device, including base, motor connecting rod and pole setting, the inside of base is provided with first motor, first motor passes through the shaft coupling and is connected with the tumbler disc transmission, tumbler disc's inside the rotation is connected with two -way lead screw, and just the outside of two -way lead screw is closed soon and is connected with the movable block, the movable block has the clamp splice through spring coupling.
  • The utility model, publication No.: CN221951063 discloses a paint stirrer, which relates to the technical field of mixed paint and comprises a rack, a driving motor is mounted on the rack, a rotating shaft is rotatably connected to the rack, a swing guide rail is arranged on the rack, and an output shaft of the driving motor is in shaft connection with the rotating shaft; a first connecting seat is connected to the rotating shaft, a second connecting seat is hinged to the first connecting seat, and a paint bucket positioning frame is connected to the second connecting seat; a sliding block is arranged on the swing guide rail in a sliding mode, the swing guide rail is arranged around the rotating shaft, and a swing near point and a swing far point are formed in the axial direction of the rotating shaft. A connecting rod is connected to the sliding block, a third connecting base is connected to the connecting rod, a connecting rod is hinged to the third connecting base, a fourth connecting base is hinged to the end, away from the third connecting base, of the connecting rod, and the fourth connecting base is connected to the paint bucket positioning frame. And the power driving is performed by the driving motor, so that an extra power driving assembly is not needed.
  • Every prior art discussed has the same disadvantages, i.e. either is a bulky and expensive machinery suited mostly for use in paint stores or subject the stirring and mixing process to paint splattering outside the paint container and/or increased danger of spilling the paint by toppling the paint container while the paint are stirred.
  • The present invention is dedicated to overcoming of the above shortcomings and for producing further advantages over prior art.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
