Description
- The present disclosure relates to a heat source unit and a refrigeration cycle device.
- A noise source of a heat pump type air conditioner is a compressor housed in an outdoor unit. Patent Document 1 discloses a heat pump type air conditioner in which a compressor is covered with a soundproof box.
- Patent Document 1:
Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2005-241197 - The compressor is connected with a plurality of pipes and wires, and therefore the configuration in which the compressor is covered with a conventional soundproof box requires a certain number of work steps to assemble the soundproof box at the time of installation and disassemble the soundproof box at the time of maintenance.
- An object of the present disclosure is to provide a heat source unit having a compressor and employing a soundproof structure that can facilitate assembly at the time of installation and disassembly at the time of maintenance.
- A first aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a heat source unit (20) having a machine chamber (S1) in which at least a compressor (30) is disposed. A sound insulation member (60) is fixed to at least part of a plate member (27b, 27c, 28) that defines the machine chamber (S1). A space (61) is provided between the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) and the sound insulation member (60).
- In the first aspect, the sound insulation members (60) are fixed to the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) that define the machine chamber (S1). Therefore, it is possible to facilitate assembly at the time of installation and disassembly at the time of maintenance. Further, since the compressor (30) is covered in the double-structure manner by the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) and the sound insulation members (60), the sound insulation performance against the noise of the compressor (30) is improved.
- A second aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of the first aspect. In the second aspect, the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) includes a plurality of plate portions (27b, 27c, 28) that can be combined, and the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to at least one of the plurality of plate portions (27b, 27c, 28).
- In the second aspect, it is possible to more easily assemble and disassemble the sound insulation member (60) as well as the plurality of plate portions (27b, 27c, 28), and therefore it is possible to significantly reduce the number of work steps required for installation and maintenance.
- A third aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of the first or second aspect. In the third aspect, the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) with a first vibration reduction member (63) sandwiched therebetween.
- In the third aspect, it is possible to reduce the vibration transmitted from the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) to the sound insulation member (60), where the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) define the machine chamber (S1). Therefore, it is possible to reduce the noise generated by the sound insulation member (60) vibrating itself.
- A fourth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of any one of the first to third aspects. In the fourth aspect, a first sound absorption material (71) is provided in the space (61).
- In the fourth aspect, the first sound absorption material (71) is disposed between the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) defining the machine chamber (S1) and the sound insulation member (60), and therefore, compared with when the first sound absorption material (71) is not provided in the space (61), it is possible to reduce a decrease in transmission loss caused by a low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon.
- A fifth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of any one of the first to fourth aspects. In the fifth aspect, the heat source unit (20) further includes: a second vibration reduction member (41) supporting the compressor (30); a first support member (32) supporting the second vibration reduction member (41); a third vibration reduction member (42) supporting the first support member (32); and a second support member (27a) supporting the third vibration reduction member (42).
- In the fifth aspect, the compressor (30) is supported by the double vibration reduction structure, and therefore it is possible to reduce propagation of the vibration of the compressor (30) to the bottom of the machine chamber (S1).
- A sixth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of any one of the first to fifth aspects. In the sixth aspect, the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to a surface of the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) that faces an inside of the machine chamber (S1).
- In the sixth aspect, the heat source unit (20) can be more downsized compared with when the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the surface of the plate member (27b, 27c, 28) that faces the outside of the machine chamber (S1).
- A seventh aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of the sixth aspect. In the seventh aspect, in the machine chamber (S1), the sound insulation member (60) covers the compressor (30) so as to define a housing space (5) that houses the compressor (30).
- In the seventh aspect, the sound insulation member (60) covers the compressor (30) so as to define the housing space (5) that houses the compressor (30), and therefore the sound insulation performance against the noise of the compressor (30) is further improved.
- An eighth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of the sixth or seventh aspect. In the eighth aspect, a second sound absorption material (72) is provided on a surface of the sound insulation member (60) that is opposite to the plate member (27b, 27c, 28).
- In the eighth aspect, the second sound absorption material (72) is disposed between the sound insulation member (60) and the compressor (30), and therefore it is possible to reduce the sound pressure level of the sound emitted from the compressor (30). Therefore, it is possible to reduce louder noise being generated by the build-up of the sound reflected by the sound insulation member (60).
- A ninth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of any one of the first to fifth aspects. In the ninth aspect, the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to a surface of the plate member (27b, 27c) that faces an outside of the machine chamber (S1).
- In the ninth aspect, the machine chamber (S1) can secure a larger space compared with when the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the surface of the plate member (27b, 27c) that faces the inside of the machine chamber (S1).
- A tenth aspect of the present disclosure is an embodiment of the ninth aspect. In the tenth aspect, a second sound absorption material (72) is provided on a surface of the plate member (27b, 27c) that faces an inside of the machine chamber (S1).
- In the tenth eighth aspect, the second sound absorption material (72) is disposed between the plate member (27b, 27c) and the compressor (30), and therefore it is possible to reduce the sound pressure level of the sound emitted from the compressor (30). Therefore, it is possible to reduce louder noise being generated by the build-up of the sound reflected by the plate member (27b, 27c).
- An eleventh aspect of the present disclosure is directed to a refrigeration cycle device including: the heat source unit (20) of any one of the first to tenth aspects; and a refrigerant circuit (2) connected with the heat source unit (20).
- The eleventh aspect can employ the soundproof structure of the compressor (30) that can facilitate assembly at the time of installation and disassembly at the time of maintenance.

The embodiments below are merely exemplary ones in nature, and are not intended to limit the scope, applications, or use of the invention. In the drawings, the same reference numerals denote the same components, but the dimensions in the drawings, such as a length, a width, a thickness, and a depth, are changed as necessary from the actual scales for the sake of clarity and simplicity of the drawings, and may not correspond to the actual relative dimensions.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 , a refrigeration cycle device (1) includes an air conditioning device unit (10) and an outdoor unit (20). The outdoor unit (20) is a heat source unit of the refrigeration cycle device (1). The outdoor unit (20) is connected to a refrigerant circuit (2). The refrigerant circuit (2) is filled with, for example, a flammable natural refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit (2) circulates a refrigerant to perform a refrigeration cycle. - The air conditioning device unit (10) has an air conditioning device (11). The air conditioning device (11) is connected to a fluid circuit (12). Temperature adjustment fluid flows through the fluid circuit (12). The temperature adjustment fluid is water, for example. The air conditioning device (11) is installed in an indoor space that is to be air-conditioned.
- To build the fluid circuit (12), the air conditioning device (11), a fluid pump (16), and a water heat exchanger (15) are connected by a fluid pipe (17). The fluid pump (16) circulates water in the fluid circuit (12).
- The outdoor unit (20) includes the water heat exchanger (15), an outdoor heat exchanger (21), an outdoor fan (22), an outdoor expansion valve (23), a four-way switching valve (24), an accumulator (25), and a compressor (30). The outdoor heat exchanger (21), the outdoor expansion valve (23), the four-way switching valve (24), and the compressor (30) are connected by a pipe (26). A refrigerant flows through the pipe (26).
- The outdoor heat exchanger (21) is a cross-fin-type fin-and-tube heat exchanger, for example. The outdoor heat exchanger (21) exchanges heat between the refrigerant flowing through the outdoor heat exchanger (21) and the air sent by the outdoor fan (22). The outdoor expansion valve (23) is an electronic expansion valve, for example.
- The compressor (30) is, for example, a rotary compressor such as a scroll compressor. The pipe (26) on the discharge side of the compressor (30) is connected with the four-way switching valve (24). The pipe (26) on the suction side of the compressor (30) is connected with the accumulator (25).
- The water heat exchanger (15) is connected with the pipe (26) of the refrigerant circuit (2). The water heat exchanger (15) exchanges heat between the refrigerant flowing through the pipe (26) and the water flowing through the fluid pipe (17).
- The four-way switching valve (24) has a first port (P1), a second port (P2), a third port (P3), and a fourth port (P4). The four-way switching valve (24) is in a state in which the first port (P1) and the third port (P3) communicate with each other and the second port (P2) and the fourth port (P4) communicate with each other (the state indicated by the solid lines in
FIG. 1 ). - The air conditioning device (11) is a heat exchanger that functions as a radiator of the temperature adjustment fluid circulating in the fluid circuit (12). The air conditioning device (11) is an example of a target for temperature adjustment. Specifically, the air conditioning device (11) is a radiator, a floor cooling/heating panel, or the like. For example, if the air conditioning device (11) is a radiator, the air conditioning device (11) is provided near a wall or the like in a room. For example, if the air conditioning device (11) is a floor cooling/heating panel, the air conditioning device (11) is provided under the floor or the like in a room.
- As shown in
FIG. 2 , the outdoor unit (20) has a body casing (27). The body casing (27) is made of a material having sound insulation properties, such as a metal plate member. The body casing (27) includes a bottom plate (27a), a side plate (27b), and a top plate (27c) that can be combined into a box shape, for example. A partitioning member (28) is disposed upright in the body casing (27). The partitioning member (28) is made of, for example, a metal plate member. The partitioning member (28) partitions the inside of the body casing (27) into a machine chamber (S1) and a fan chamber (S2). In other words, the bottom plate (27a), the side plate (27b), and the top plate (27c) which form the body casing (27) are combined with the partitioning member (28), thereby defining each of the machine chamber (S1) and the fan chamber (S2). - The machine chamber (S1) is a space formed in the body casing (27) and located to the right of the partitioning member (28) in
FIG. 2 . The compressor (30), the water heat exchanger (15), the four-way switching valve (24), the accumulator (25), and the pipe (26) are disposed in the machine chamber (S1). - The compressor (30) has a support leg (31). The support leg (31) is supported by a plurality of first vibration reduction members (41). The first vibration reduction member (41) is made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The first vibration reduction member (41) is supported by the bottom plate (27a) of the body casing (27).
- The accumulator (25) is supported by a stay (not shown) at a position apart from the bottom plate (27a) of the body casing (27).
- The fan chamber (S2) is a space formed in the body casing (27) and located to the left of the partitioning member (28) in
FIG. 2 . The outdoor fan (22) and the outdoor heat exchanger (21) are disposed in the fan chamber (S2). - In this embodiment, in order to improve the sound insulation performance against the noise of the compressor (30), as shown in
FIG. 2 , a sound insulation member (60) is fixed to each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), where these plate members define the machine chamber (S1). The sound insulation member (60) is provided so that a space (61) is formed between the sound insulation member (60) and each of the side plate (27b), the top plate (27c), and the partitioning member (28). The sound insulation member (60) is comprised of an air-impermeable member, such as a metal plate member or a rubber sheet. The sound insulation member (60) may have, for example, a through hole such as a hole through which the pipe (26) passes. - The sound insulation member (60) may cover the compressor (30) so as to define a housing space (5) that houses the compressor (30). Specifically, the sound insulation member (60) may be provided on each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), where these plate members define the machine chamber (S1), so that the compressor (30) except for its bottom surface is surrounded by the double sound insulation wall structure. In this case, other components of the refrigerant circuit (2), such as the accumulator (25), may be disposed in the housing space (5) defined by the sound insulation members (60). Accordingly, it is possible to reduce outward leakage of sound of the refrigerant passing through the refrigerant circuit (2).
- In accordance with the directivity of the noise generated by the compressor (30), the sound insulation members (60) may be selectively installed on the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28). For example, since the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) face the outside, installing the sound insulation members (60) on these plates is more effective than installing the same on the partitioning member (28) facing the fan chamber (S2), and therefore the sound insulation members (60) may be installed only on the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) while the sound insulation member (60) is not installed on the partitioning member (28). The sound insulation member (60) may be omitted at locations where the pipe (26) and the like are disposed.
- A method of fixing the sound insulation members (60) to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) is not particularly limited, but, for example, as shown in
FIG. 3 , the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed with bolts as fixing members (62), or may be fixed with welding, crimping, riveting, or the like. -
FIG. 3 shows variations of the form in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27). As shown inFIGS. 3A and 3B , the end portions of the sound insulation member (60) may be bent, and then these end portions may be fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27) with the fixing members (62) so that the space (61) is formed between the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27) and the sound insulation member (60). Alternatively, as shown inFIGS. 3C and 3D , the end portions of the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27) may be bent, and then the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to these end portions with the fixing members (62) so that the space (61) is formed between the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27) and the sound insulation member (60). -
FIG. 3 shows exemplary forms in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) in similar manners. - A first variation is different from the first embodiment in that as shown in
FIG. 4 , the sound insulation members (60) are fixed to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) with first vibration reduction members (63) sandwiched therebetween. The first vibration reduction member (63) is made of, for example, rubber, urethane, or the like. InFIG. 4 , the same components as those of the first embodiment shown inFIG. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals.FIG. 4 shows exemplary forms in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) in similar manners. - A second variation is different from the first embodiment in that as shown in
FIGS. 5 and6 , a first sound absorption material (71) is provided in the space (61) formed between the sound insulation member (60) and each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28). The first sound absorption material (71) is made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. If a foamed sound absorption material such as urethane foam is used as the first sound absorption material (71), the space (61) is configured to be in a sealed state. InFIGS. 5 and6 , the same components as those of the first embodiment shown inFIGS. 2 and3 are denoted by the same reference numerals.FIG. 6 shows exemplary forms in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) in similar manners. - In the second variation, similarly to the first variation, the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) with first vibration reduction members (63) sandwiched therebetween.
- A third variation is different from the second variation in that as shown in
FIGS. 7 and8 , a second sound absorption material (72) is provided on the surface of the sound insulation member (60) that is opposite to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), or in other words, on the surface of the sound insulation member (60) that faces the compressor (30). The second sound absorption material (72) is made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. InFIGS. 7 and8 , the same components as those of the second variation shown inFIGS. 5 and6 are denoted by the same reference numerals.FIG. 8 shows exemplary forms in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) in similar manners. - In the third variation, similarly to the first variation, the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) with first vibration reduction members (63) sandwiched therebetween.
- In the third variation, the first sound absorption material (71) of the second variation may be omitted.
- A fourth variation is different from the third variation in that as shown in
FIG. 9 , the compressor (30) is supported by a double vibration reduction structure. InFIG. 9 , the same components as those of the third variation shown inFIG. 7 are denoted by the same reference numerals. - Specifically, as shown in
FIG. 9 , the compressor (30) has the support leg (31). The support leg (31) is supported by a plurality of second vibration reduction members (41). The second vibration reduction member (41) is made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The second vibration reduction member (41) is supported by a first support member (32). The first support member (32) is supported by a plurality of third vibration reduction members (42). The third vibration reduction member (42) is made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The material and spring constant of the second vibration reduction member (41) may be the same as or may be different from the material and spring constant of the third vibration reduction member (42). The third vibration reduction member (42) is supported by the bottom plate (27a) of the body casing (27). In other words, in the example shown inFIG. 9 , the bottom plate (27a) of the body casing (27) is a second support member. - In the fourth variation, even when the compressor (30) vibrates while the refrigeration cycle device (1) is operating, this vibration is reduced by the second vibration reduction members (41) and the third vibration reduction members (42) before being transmitted to the bottom plate (27a) of the body casing (27). Here, as the total weight of the structure supported by the second vibration reduction members (41) and the third vibration reduction members (42) increases, the vibration reduction effect improves. Therefore, for example, as shown in
FIG. 9 , other components of the refrigerant circuit (2), such as the water heat exchanger (15), may be disposed on the first support member (32). - In the fourth variation, similarly to the first variation, the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) with first vibration reduction members (63) sandwiched therebetween.
- In the fourth variation, the first sound absorption material (71) of the second variation and/or the second sound absorption material (72) of the third variation may be omitted.
- The outdoor unit (20) as the heat source unit of the present disclosure has the machine chamber (S1) in which at least the compressor (30) is disposed. In the machine chamber (S1), the sound insulation members (60) are fixed to at least part of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), where these plate members define the machine chamber (S1). The space (61) is provided between each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) and the sound insulation member (60).
- In the outdoor unit (20), the sound insulation members (60) are fixed to the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) that define the machine chamber (S1). Therefore, it is possible to facilitate assembly at the time of installation and disassembly at the time of maintenance, and therefore it is possible to reduce the number of work steps required for installation and maintenance. Further, since the compressor (30) is covered in the double-structure manner by the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) as well as by the sound insulation members (60), the sound insulation performance against the noise of the compressor (30) is improved. Specifically, the sound insulation performance of sheet metal, hard rubber, or the like employed for the sound insulation member (60) usually improves as their mass increases, but if the mass is the same, the sound insulation performance is more improved when the sound is insulated by two sound insulation members than when the sound is insulated by one sound insulation member.
- In the outdoor unit (20), the length between each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) and the sound insulation member (60), where the side plate (27b), the top plate (27c), and the partitioning member (28) define the machine chamber (S1), or in other words, the length of the space (61), may be set to 5 mm or more and 210 mm or less, or preferably 5 mm or more and 50 mm or less. Accordingly, it is possible to enhance the soundproofing effect while reducing the contact between the sound insulation member (60) and the body casing (27) or the partitioning member (28) due to the vibration.
- In the outdoor unit (20), in the machine chamber (S1), the sound insulation members (60) may cover the compressor (30) so as to define the housing space (5) that houses the compressor (30). Accordingly, the sound insulation performance against the noise of the compressor (30) is further improved.
- In the outdoor unit (20), where the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) can be combined together, the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to at least one of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28). Accordingly, it is possible to more easily assemble and disassemble the sound insulation member (60) as well as the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), and therefore it is possible to significantly reduce the number of work steps required for installation and maintenance.
- In the outdoor unit (20), the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) with the first vibration reduction member (63) sandwiched therebetween. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the vibration transmitted from the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) to the sound insulation member (60), where the side plate (27b), the top plate (27c), and the partitioning member (28) define the machine chamber (S1). Therefore, it is possible to reduce the noise generated by the sound insulation member (60) vibrating itself.
- In the outdoor unit (20), the first sound absorption material (71) may be provided in the space (61) formed between each of the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28) and the sound insulation member (60). Accordingly, compared with when the first sound absorption material (71) is not provided in the space (61), it is possible to reduce a decrease in transmission loss caused by a low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon.
- The "low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon (drum phenomenon)" is a resonance phenomenon in which when two plates form a double structure with a hollow layer sandwiched therebetween just like a multi-layered glass, the two plates provide two masses, and the air in the hollow layer vibrates as a spring that connects the two plates. This phenomenon is usually generated in a low frequency range, and thus it is called the low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon. When the "low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon" occurs, the transmission loss becomes lower than a value expected from the mass law, and then the sound insulation performance is lowered.
- In the outdoor unit (20), the second sound absorption material (72) may be provided on the surface of the sound insulation member (60) that is opposite to the side plate (27b) and top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the partitioning member (28), or in other words, on the surface of the sound insulation member (60) that faces the compressor (30). Accordingly, it is possible to reduce the sound pressure level of the sound emitted from the compressor (30), and therefore it is possible to reduce louder noise being generated by the build-up of the sound reflected by the sound insulation member (60).
- The "build-up" is a phenomenon in which when a sound source is hermetically enclosed in a box, the sound pressure level around the sound source more increases due to the sound reflection by the box material than when the box is not provided. When the "build-up" occurs, this equation holds: "the sound pressure level outside the box" = "the sound pressure level at which the box is not provided" - "the transmission loss of the box material" + "the build-up", which means that the amount of sound pressure reduction by the box becomes smaller than a value expected from the transmission loss of the box material.
- The outdoor unit (20) may include the second vibration reduction member (41) that supports the compressor (30); the first support member (32) that supports the second vibration reduction member (41); the third vibration reduction member (42) that supports the first support member (32); and the bottom plate (27a) (the second support member) of the body casing (27) that supports the third vibration reduction member (42). Accordingly, the compressor (30) is supported by the double vibration reduction structure, and therefore it is possible to reduce propagation of the vibration of the compressor (30) to the bottom of the machine chamber (S1).
- The refrigeration cycle device (1) as the refrigeration cycle device of the present disclosure includes the outdoor unit (20) and the refrigerant circuit (2) connected with the outdoor unit (20), and therefore can employ the soundproof structure of the compressor (30) that can facilitate assembly at the time of installation and disassembly at the time of maintenance.
- In the first embodiment (and its variations), the sound insulation members (60) are fixed on the surfaces of the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) that face the inside of the machine chamber (S1), where these plate members define the machine chamber (S1).
- In contrast, in the second embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 10 , the sound insulation member (60) is fixed on the outer surface of the body casing (27), or specifically, on the surface of the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) that faces the outside of the machine chamber (S1).FIG. 10 is a top view of an example of the sound insulation member (60) provided in the outdoor unit (20) of the second embodiment, and the same components as those of the first embodiment shown inFIGS. 2 to 9 are denoted by the same reference numerals. - The second embodiment can also provide the same effects as those of the first embodiment. In the first embodiment, the outdoor unit (20) can be more downsized compared with the second embodiment, whereas in the second embodiment, the machine chamber (S1) can secure a larger space compared with the first embodiment.
- In the second embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 10 , the outdoor unit (20) may be retrofitted with the sound insulation member (60). Alternatively, after the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the sound insulation member (60) are integrated in advance, the body casing (27) may be assembled. - A method of fixing the sound insulation members (60) to the body casing (27) is not particularly limited, but, for example, as shown in
FIG. 11 , the sound insulation members (60) may be fixed with bolts as fixing members (62), or may be fixed with welding, crimping, riveting, or the like. -
FIG. 11 shows variations of the form in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27). As shown inFIGS. 11A and 11B , the end portions of the side plate (27b) may be bent, and then the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to these end portions with the fixing members (62) so that the space (61) is formed between the side plate (27b) and the sound insulation member (60). As shown inFIGS. 11C and 11D , the end portions of the sound insulation member (60) may be bent, and then these end portions may be fixed to the side plate (27b) with the fixing members (62) so that the space (61) is formed between the side plate (27b) and the sound insulation member (60). -
FIG. 11 shows exemplary forms in which the sound insulation member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) in a similar manner. - In the second embodiment, similarly to the first variation of the first embodiment, the sound insulation member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) with the first vibration reduction member (63) sandwiched therebetween.
- In the second embodiment, similarly to the second variation of the first embodiment, the first sound absorption material (71) may be provided in the space (61) formed between the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) and the sound insulation member (60).
- In the second embodiment, as shown in
FIG. 12 , the second sound absorption material (72) may be provided on the surface of the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) that faces the inside of the machine chamber (S1), or in other words, on the surface of the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) that faces the compressor (30). The second sound absorption material (72) is made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. InFIG. 12 , the same components as those inFIG. 11 are denoted by the same reference numerals.FIG. 12 shows exemplary forms in which the second sound absorption material (72) is provided on the side plate (27b) of the body casing (27), while the second sound absorption material (72) may be installed on the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) in a similar manner. - The installation of the second sound absorption material (72) can reduce the sound pressure level of the sound emitted from the compressor (30), and therefore it is possible to reduce louder noise being generated by the build-up of the sound reflected by the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c).
-
FIG. 12 shows exemplary forms in which the first sound absorption material (71) is provided along with the second sound absorption material (72), while one of the first sound absorption material (71) and the second sound absorption material (72) may be omitted. - In the second embodiment, similarly to the fourth variation of the first embodiment, the compressor (30) may be supported by the double vibration reduction structure.
- In the first and second embodiments, the material of the side plate (27b) and/or the top plate (27c) of the body casing (27) may be the same as the material of the sound insulation member (60) in order to form the casing with the double wall structure.
- In the embodiments (and its variations; the same applies below as well), the refrigeration cycle device is described as the device having the refrigerant circuit and the fluid circuit, but is not limited to this form. For example, the refrigeration cycle device may be an air conditioner including a single refrigerant circuit.
- The air conditioning device such as a radiator or a floor cooling/heating panel is described as an example of a target for temperature adjustment performed by the outdoor unit as a heat source unit, but is not limited to this form. For example, water heated by the water heat exchanger may be supplied to a hot water tank, a bath, a shower, or the like.
- Further, instead of having the water heat exchanger, the heat source unit of the refrigeration cycle device may be connected to a utilization unit via a refrigerant pipe to form the refrigerant circuit. The utilization unit has a utilization heat exchanger that uses a refrigerant to adjust a temperature of the air. The utilization unit may be an air conditioning unit for conditioning the air in a target space. In this case, the air conditioning unit may be a ceiling-mounted unit, a wall-mounted unit, or a floor standing unit. The utilization unit may be a cooling unit for cooling the air in a storage. The cooling unit may cool the inside of a container for marine transportation or land transportation.
- The heat source unit is not necessarily placed outdoors, and may be placed indoors. In this case, a heat-source-side heat exchanger is not configured as an outdoor heat exchanger but a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a heating medium such as water and a refrigerant.
- While the embodiments have been described above, it will be understood that various changes in form and details can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the claims. The above embodiments and variations may be appropriately combined or replaced. In addition, the expressions of "first", "second", "third", . . . , in the specification and claims are used to distinguish the terms to which these expressions are given, and do not limit the number and order of the terms.
- As described above, the present disclosure is useful for a heat source unit and a refrigeration cycle device.
