TECHNICAL FIELD
-
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of furniture hardware, and in particular, to a hinge with adjustable damping.
BACKGROUND
-
Hinges are traditional furniture hardware components used to connect a cabinet body and a cabinet door. Existing damping hinges have a fixed damping force which cannot be adjusted according to actual usage. However, customers' home environments are complex, and hinges with fixed damping force may not be suitable for all users. If the damping force of the hinge is too small, a heavy door may produce an impact noise when closing. If the damping force is too large, the closing process becomes excessively slow. Therefore, there is an urgent need to further improve the existing hinge structure so as to accommodate use in a variety of settings.
SUMMARY
-
The present disclosure aims to solve at least one of the technical problems in the existing technologies. Therefore, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, provided is a hinge with adjustable damping, which includes a hinge cup, a hinge body, a hinge arm and a pivot shaft. -
The present disclosure at least has the following beneficial effects.
-
When a reduction in the hinge's damping force is required, the second limiting member is shifted to the first operating position, where it engages with the first limiting member. In this state, when the hinge is folded, the distance over which the pushing portions push the first limiting member becomes shorter, thereby reducing the stroke of the damping cylinder compressed by the first limiting member and consequently decreasing the damping force of the hinge. When an increase in the hinge's damping force is required, the second limiting member is shifted to the second operating position, where it disengages from the first limiting member. In this state, when the hinge is folded, the distance over which the pushing portions push the first limiting member returns to its original value, thereby increasing the stroke of the damping cylinder compressed by the first limiting member and consequently increasing the damping force of the hinge.
-

When the hinge is folded, the first limiting member 400 is pushed backwards by the pusher 300, when the second limiting member 500 is shifted to the first operating position, the limiting hook portion 520 hooks the protruding hook block 401. When the second limiting member 500 is shifted to the second operating position, during movement of the first limiting member 400, the clearance position 402 passes below the limiting hook portion 520.
-
Referring to FIGS. 3-6 and FIGS. 14-17, the second limiting member 500 has a first operating position and a second operating position.
-
When the second limiting member 500 is shifted to the first operating position, the limiting hook portion 520 hooks the protruding hook block 401, which shortens the distance that the pusher 300 pushes the first limiting member 400 to move. When the hinge is folded, the stroke of the damping cylinder 200 compressed by the first limiting member 400 is reduced, which reduces the damping force of the hinge.
-
When the second limiting member 500 is shifted to the second operating position, the limiting hook portion 520 moves to the rear of a clearance position 402. When the hinge is folded, during the process in which the pusher 300 pushes the first limiting member 400 to move, the clearance position 402 passes below the limiting hook portion 520, causing the distance of the first limiting member to return to the original state, which increases the stroke of the damping cylinder 200 compressed by the first limiting member 400, thereby increasing the damping force of the hinge.
-
