Description

  • The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a spraying member with improved safety.
  • In dishwashers, the washing process is realized by spraying the water received from the water delivery line onto the dishes by means of spray arms. Water is sprayed onto the items placed in the rack by means of the spray arms. In order to spray water homogeneously onto all the items in the dishwasher, the spray arms rotate around themselves at different rotational speeds. Thus, the water is enabled to be delivered onto the items at an angle. Water can reach a larger area as the density and the speed thereof increase. It is highly important to deliver the water to the edge regions of the machine. While the dishes placed in the central region of the rack are generally washed more effectively, the dishes placed near the edges are not washed properly due to insufficient water delivery. The positioning of the nozzles on the spray arm is generally determined by taking such situations into account with the aim of improving the washing performance. The spray arms may be manufactured as a single piece, but generally the lower and upper parts are manufactured separately and the lower and upper parts are joined together by welding. Thus, ease of production is provided. However, the inability to apply the welding line circumferentially causes leakage in between, leading to uncontrolled discharge of water from the spraying member. As a result, the washing performance decreases and the water does not reach the intended area. In order to prevent this situation, pressure tests are performed on the nozzles during production; however, if closed under pressure, microcracks are often difficult to detect.
  • In the state of the art Utility Model Document No. CN210249747 , a spraying member production method is disclosed. The said spraying member comprises bonding gaps in order to increase the perception of quality.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of a dishwasher comprising a spraying member with improved safety.
  • The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a washing tub which is disposed in the body; at least one rack which is disposed in the washing tub; at least one spraying member which sprays water onto the rack; an opening which enables the spraying member to be attached to the washing tub; and a plurality of nozzles which are provided on the spraying member. The spraying member comprises a first shell, a second shell, and a joint line which connects the first shell and the second shell. A water delivery line which delivers the water taken through the opening to the nozzles is provided between the first shell and the second shell. The water taken from the mains into the washing tub is delivered to the spraying member to be sent into the washing tub. The spraying member is attached to the washing tub by means of the opening and the water is delivered to the spraying member through the opening. The water moving through the spraying member is delivered onto the kitchen items in the rack by means of the nozzles.
  • The dishwasher of the present invention comprises two joint lines which provide the circumferential joining of the first shell and the second shell. By means of the joint line being formed by two nested circumferential lines, any microcracks which may occur in one are compensated by the other. Moreover, this facilitates the tests to be conducted during production.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises an air duct which is provided between the two joint lines. By means of the air duct formed between the two joint lines, the testing of the joint lines is facilitated, and a seamless joint is ensured.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises at least one hole which is provided on the air duct. During production, the nozzles of the spraying member are sealed and air is introduced through the hole provided on the air duct. Thus, leakage detection is performed.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a circumferential protrusion which is provided around the hole. Thus, the hole can be closed by means of a plug without applying pressure. Since no pressure is applied, the detection of microcracks is facilitated.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the joining method is welding. By means of welding, a spraying member with improved perceived quality and safety is realized.
  • By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, comprising a spraying member having two joint lines, thereby ensuring production safety.
  • A dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
    • Figure 1 - is the perspective view of the dishwasher.
    • Figure 2 - is the exploded view of the spraying member.
    • Figure 3 - is the perspective view of the spraying member.
  • The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows.
    • 1- Dishwasher
    • 2- Body
    • 3- Washing tub
    • 4- Rack

  • The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is disposed in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is realized; at least one rack (4) which is disposed in the washing tub (3) and wherein the kitchens items are placed; and at least one spraying member (11) which is placed above the rack (4), which enables the water to be delivered onto the kitchen items and which has a first shell (6) having a plurality of nozzles (5), a second shell (8) which enables the spraying member (11) to be attached onto the washing tub (3) and has an opening (7) for delivering the water to the spraying member (11) for the first time, at least one joint line (9) which joins the first shell (6) and the second shell (8), and a water delivery line (10) which is provided between the first shell (6) and the second shell (8) and which delivers the water entering through the opening (7) to the nozzles (5). The spraying member (11) is formed by connecting the first shell (6) and the second shell (8) at the joint line (9). Joining methods such as welding or overmolding may be used. The water delivery line (10) which delivers the water is provided between the first shell (6) and the second shell (8). The water entering the spraying member (11) through the opening (7) travels along the water delivery line (10) and is transferred through the nozzles (5) into the washing tub (3).
  • The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises two joint lines (9) which enable the first shell (6) and the second shell (8) to be fully connected to each other circumferentially. The two joint lines (9) are nested circumferentially. Any microcrack which may occur on one joint line (9) is compensated by the other joint line (9). By means of the nesting of the two joint lines (9), the testing of the spraying member (11) during production is also facilitated. Thus, the defect rate on the spraying member (11) decreases.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises an air duct (12) which is provided between the two joint lines (9). An air duct (12) is formed between the two joint lines (9) nested circumferentially. By means of the air duct (12) formed, the perceived quality and performance of the spraying member (11) are improved.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises at least one hole (13) which is provided on the air duct (12). By means of the hole (13) provided on the air duct (12), the spraying member (11) is enabled to be tested during production. During the test, the nozzles (5) are temporarily sealed and air is blown into the air duct (12) through the hole (13). Since no pressure is applied, any microcracks which may occur on the joint line (9) can be detected. Thus, the defect rate decreases.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a circumferential protrusion (14) which is provided around the hole (13). By means of the protrusion (14), the hole (13) can be sealed during the test without applying pressure to the edges thereof. Thus, the detection of microcracks can be performed more easily.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the joint line (9) formed by welding. The first shell (6) and the second shell (8) are joined together by welding.
  • By means of the present invention, a spraying member (11) with improved production safety is realized. By means of the two nested joint lines (9), the testing of the spraying member (11) during production is facilitated and error-free manufacturing is ensured. Thus, the water is correctly directed, and the washing performance is improved.
