  • FIG. 1A is a perspective view of a first embodiment of a compressor in the present application, for illustrating an external structure of the compressor. FIG. 1B is an axial cross-sectional view of the compressor in FIG. 1A, taken along line A-A and sectioned in a horizontal direction, for illustrating a transverse internal structure of the compressor.
  • As shown in FIG. 1A to FIG. 1B, a screw compressor 100 includes a housing 101 and a pair of rotors 110 disposed in the rotor housing 101. The pair of rotors 110 includes a male rotor 102 and a female rotor 103 capable of meshing with each other in pairs. The male rotor 102 and the female rotor 103 can be driven to rotate. The male rotor 102 is provided with a male rotor body 120 and male rotor connecting portions 128 and 129. The male rotor connecting portions 128 and 129 are located at both axial ends of the male rotor body 120 to form a shaft of the male rotor 102. The male rotor connecting portion 129 is pivotally connected to the housing 101, and the male rotor connecting portion 128 is drivingly connected to a motor 140, such that the motor 140 may drive the male rotor 102 to rotate relative to the housing 101 about an axis of the male rotor 102. Similarly, the female rotor 103 is provided with a female rotor body 130 and female rotor connecting portions 138 and 139. The female rotor connecting portion 138 is located at both axial ends of the female rotor body 130 to form a shaft of the female rotor. The female rotor connecting portion 138 and the female rotor connecting portion 139 are respectively pivotally connected to the housing 101, and the female rotor 103 can be driven by the male rotor 102 to rotate relative to the housing 101 about an axis of the female rotor 103. The male rotor body 120 is externally provided with a plurality of helical teeth 168 and tooth grooves. The tooth grooves are formed by adjacent teeth 168. The female rotor body 130 is also externally provided with a plurality of helical teeth 169 and tooth grooves. The tooth grooves are formed by adjacent teeth 169. The teeth 168 and the tooth grooves of the male rotor body 120, together with the tooth grooves and the teeth 169 of the female rotor body 130, form a meshing structure, such that the male rotor body 120, the female rotor body 130, and the housing 101 jointly form a compression accommodating cavity 105. The housing 101 is provided with a compressor suction port 141 and a compressor exhaust port 142. A refrigerant enters the compressor through the compressor suction port 141 and is discharged through the compressor exhaust port 142 after compression.
  • Along an axial direction of the pair of rotors 110, the pair of rotors 110 is provided with a suction end 121 and an exhaust end 122. Refrigerant gas is sucked into the compression accommodating cavity 105 at the suction end 121 and gradually moves toward the exhaust end 122 with the rotation of the pair of rotors 110. Meanwhile, the volume of the compression accommodating cavity 105 gradually decreases with the rotation of the pair of rotors 110, and the gas in the compression accommodating cavity 105 is also gradually compressed. The compressed gas is discharged from the exhaust end 122.
  • As shown in FIG. 1A and FIG. 1B, the housing 101 includes a rotor seat 151 and an exhaust seat 152. The rotor seat 151 and the exhaust seat 152 are connected to each other. The compressor suction port 141 is provided on the rotor seat 151, and the compressor exhaust port 142 is provided on the exhaust seat 152. Main body portions of the pair of rotors 110 (i.e., portions with helical teeth, namely portions from the suction end 121 to the exhaust end 122) are located in the rotor seat 151. The exhaust end 122 of the pair of rotors 110 is provided with an exhaust end face 125. The exhaust seat 152 is provided with a housing fitting surface 135. The exhaust end face 125 faces the housing fitting surface 135 and is adjacent to the housing fitting surface 135.
  • FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the shape of an exhaust end of a pair of rotors in FIG. 1B. As shown in FIG. 3, the exhaust end face 125 of the pair of rotors 110 is illustrated. The male rotor 102 and the female rotor 103 rotate in a direction indicated by arrows. On the exhaust end face 125, outer contours of the teeth of the male rotor 102 and the female rotor 103 form rotor profiles. Each of the male rotor 102 and the female rotor 103 is provided with a plurality of teeth, and each tooth is identical in shape to the adjacent teeth. Each tooth of the male rotor 102 has an addendum 221, an upstream dedendum 222, and a downstream dedendum 223. In a rotation direction of the male rotor, the upstream dedendum 222 is located upstream of the downstream dedendum 223. The upstream dedendum 222 of each tooth coincides with the downstream dedendum 223 of an adjacent tooth. The teeth of the male rotor 102 are uniformly distributed. The addendum 221 of each tooth is located on a same circle. The circle is defined as an addendum circle 251. The upstream dedendum 222 and the downstream dedendum 223 of each tooth are located on a same circle. The circle is defined as a dedendum circle 252.
  • Similarly, each tooth of the female rotor 103 has an addendum 231, an upstream dedendum 232, and a downstream dedendum 233. In a rotation direction of the female rotor, the upstream dedendum 232 is located upstream of the downstream dedendum 233. The upstream dedendum 232 of each tooth coincides with the downstream dedendum 233 of an adjacent tooth. The teeth of the female rotor 103 are uniformly distributed. The addendum 231 of each tooth is located on a same addendum circle 261. The upstream dedendum 232 and the downstream dedendum 233 of each tooth are located on a same dedendum circle 262.
  • FIG. 3A is a perspective view of an exhaust seat in FIG. 1A. FIG. 3B is a view of the exhaust seat in FIG. 3A, viewed from a fitting surface of the exhaust seat. FIG. 3C is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 3B, taken along line B-B. As shown in FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, a side of the exhaust seat 152 facing the rotor seat 151 is provided with a substantially planar housing fitting surface 135. The exhaust seat 152 is provided with an exhaust cavity 301, a pair of rotor shaft mounting channels 304 and 305, a pair of piston mounting channels 381 and 382, and a pair of guide channels 387 and 388. The pair of rotor shaft mounting channels 304 and 305 are configured to mount the male rotor connecting portion 129 and the female rotor connecting portion 139 respectively. The pair of rotor shaft mounting channels 304 and 305 extend through the housing fitting surface 135 to form shaft mounting holes 314 and 315. One end of the exhaust cavity 301 extends through the housing fitting surface 135 to form a main exhaust port 311, and the other end extends through an outer surface of the exhaust seat 152 to communicate with the compressor exhaust port 142. Thus, the main exhaust port 311 is in communication with the compressor exhaust port 142. The piston mounting channels 381 and 382 are located on both sides of the exhaust cavity 301 and extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the housing fitting surface 135. One end of each of the piston mounting channels 381 and 382 extends through the housing fitting surface 135 to form auxiliary exhaust ports 312 and 313. The guide channel 387 is disposed between the piston mounting channel 381 and the exhaust cavity 301 to communicate the piston mounting channel 381 with the exhaust cavity 301. The guide channel 388 is disposed between the piston mounting channel 382 and the exhaust cavity 301 to communicate the piston mounting channel 382 with the exhaust cavity 301. In one embodiment of the present application, the guide channels 387 and 388 are grooves recessed from the housing fitting surface 135 toward the interior of the exhaust seat 152. Both ends of the guide channel 387 are in communication with respective side walls of the piston mounting channel 382 and the exhaust cavity 301, such that the guide channel 387 communicates the auxiliary exhaust port 312 with the compressor exhaust port 142. Both ends of the guide channel 388 are in communication with respective side walls of the piston mounting channel 382 and the exhaust cavity 301, such that the guide channel 388 communicates the auxiliary exhaust port 312 with the compressor exhaust port 142.
  • As shown in FIG. 3B, a peripheral edge of the auxiliary exhaust port 312 includes a first control point D1, a second control point D2, and a third control point D3. The first control point D1, the second control point D2, and the third control point D3 divide the peripheral edge of the auxiliary exhaust port 312 into three sections. A first edge 351 is formed between the first control point D1 and the second control point D2. A second edge 352 is formed between the first control point D1 and the third control point D3. A third edge 353 is formed between the second control point D2 and the third control point D3. The shape of the first edge 351 matches the shape of the profiles of the teeth of the male rotor, and the length of the first edge is equal to the length from the upstream dedendum 222 to the addendum 221 of one tooth of the male rotor. The second edge 352 coincides with the dedendum circle 252. The third edge 353 is connected to the first edge 351 and the second edge 352, and protrudes in a direction away from the first edge 351 and the second edge 352. The third edge 353 is substantially arc-shaped.
  • The shape of the first edge 351 matches the shape of the profiles of the teeth of the male rotor, which contributes to a smooth pressure variation trend when the compression accommodating cavity 105 sweeps across the auxiliary exhaust port 312. In one embodiment of the present application, the second edge 352 coincides with the dedendum circle 252, such that the compression accommodating cavity 105 can have a sufficiently large contact area with the auxiliary exhaust port 312 when rotating to sweep across the auxiliary exhaust port 312. In another embodiment of the present application, the second edge 352 protrudes toward a central axis of the male rotor 102, and at least part of the second edge 352 is located inside the dedendum circle 252 to increase the area of the auxiliary exhaust port 312, such that the compression accommodating cavity 105 can have a sufficiently large contact area with the auxiliary exhaust port 312 when rotating to sweep across the auxiliary exhaust port 312. The third edge 353 protrudes in a direction away from the first edge 351 and the second edge 352, and at least part of the third edge 353 is located outside the addendum circle 251, such that the auxiliary exhaust port 312 has a relatively large exhaust area. To be specific, the compression accommodating cavity 105 has a large contact area with the auxiliary exhaust port 312 when rotating to sweep across the auxiliary exhaust port 312.
  • Similarly, the auxiliary exhaust port 313 is provided with a first edge 371 matching the profile of the female rotor, and the length of the first edge 371 is equal to the length from the upstream dedendum 232 to the addendum 231 of one tooth of the female rotor. The second edge 372 coincides with the dedendum circle 262, or at least part of the second edge 372 extends inward beyond the dedendum circle 262. The third edge 373 is connected to the first edge 371 and the second edge 372, and protrudes in a direction away from the first edge 371 and the second edge 372. The third edge 373 is substantially arc-shaped.
  • FIG. 3C illustrates the piston mounting channel 381. As shown in FIG. 3C, the piston mounting channel 381 includes a front section 383 and a rear section 385. The shape of each cross-section of the front section 383 matches the shape of the auxiliary exhaust port 312. Similarly, the piston mounting channel 382 also includes a front section 386 and a rear section 389. The shape of each cross-section of the front section 386 matches the shape of the auxiliary exhaust port 312.
  • In one application of the present application, for ease of processing, the second edge 352 and the second edge 372 are configured to approximately coincide with the corresponding dedendum circles, rather than strictly coinciding.
  • FIG. 4A is a perspective view of an exhaust piston of a compressor. FIG. 4B is a front view of the piston in FIG. 4A, viewed from an end. As shown in FIG. 4A, a piston 401 is a first piston mounted in the piston mounting channel 381. The piston 401 includes a body portion 411 and a head portion 412. The shape of the head portion 412 matches the shape of the front section 383 of the piston mounting channel 381. An end face of the head portion 412 forms a sealing surface 440. The sealing surface 440 can seal the auxiliary exhaust port 312. The piston 401 is movable in the piston mounting channel 381 to open or close the auxiliary exhaust port 312.
  • FIG. 4B illustrates the shape of the sealing surface 440. As shown in FIG. 4B, the sealing surface 440 is substantially drop-shaped. The shape of the sealing surface 440 matches the shape of the auxiliary exhaust port 312. A peripheral edge of the sealing surface 440 is provided with a first control point P1, a second control point P2, and a third control point P3, thus dividing the peripheral edge of the sealing surface 440 into three sections. The first control point P1, the second control point P2, and the third control point P3 coincide with the first control point D1, the second control point D2, and the third control point D3 of the auxiliary exhaust port 312 respectively. A first section 441 is formed between the first control point P1 and the second control point P2. A second section 442 is formed between the first control point P1 and the third control point P3. A third section 443 is formed between the second control point P2 and the third control point P3. The shape of the first section 441 matches the shape of the first edge 351 of the auxiliary exhaust port 312. The shape of the second section 442 matches the shape of the second edge 352 of the auxiliary exhaust port 312. The shape of the third section 443 matches the shape of the third edge of the auxiliary exhaust port 312.
  • FIG. 4A and FIG. 4B illustrate the first piston fitting the piston mounting channel 381. A second piston is provided in the piston mounting channel 382, and the structure of the second piston is similar to that of the first piston 401. The shape of a sealing surface of the second piston fits that of the auxiliary exhaust port 313. Repeated descriptions are omitted herein.
  • FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of fitting of the exhaust seat in FIG. 3C with the piston. A sectioning angle of FIG. 5 is the same as that of FIG. 3C, except that the piston 401 is included in the view of FIG. 5.
  • As shown in FIG. 5, the piston 401 is disposed in the piston mounting channel 381, and a spring accommodating cavity 512 is provided in the piston 401. The spring accommodating cavity 512 is formed by recessing inward from the end face of the body portion 411 of the piston 401. A spring 504 is disposed in the spring accommodating cavity 512. One end of the spring 504 abuts against a top portion 522 of the spring accommodating cavity 512, and the other end abuts against a bottom portion 529 of the piston mounting channel 381, such that the spring 504 can provide an elastic force. The length of the piston 401 is less than the length of the piston mounting channel 381, and the piston 401 is movable in the piston mounting channel 381. The piston mounting channel 381 is in communication with an oil system of the compressor through an electromagnetic valve assembly 560. By controlling the closing and opening of the electromagnetic valve assembly 560, the pressure in the piston mounting channel 381 can be adjusted, thereby driving the piston 401 to move. The electromagnetic valve assembly 560 includes one or more electromagnetic valves.
  • FIG. 6A is a schematic diagram when a male rotor rotates until a compression accommodating cavity is exactly in contact with an auxiliary exhaust port. FIG. 6B is a schematic diagram when a male rotor rotates until a compression accommodating cavity partially overlaps with an auxiliary exhaust port. FIG. 6C is a schematic diagram when a male rotor rotates until a compression accommodating cavity is to be in contact with an auxiliary exhaust port. FIG. 6A to FIG. 6C illustrate a process of a compression accommodating cavity overlapping with an auxiliary exhaust port.
  • In the present application, a fitting process between the first piston 401 and the male rotor 102 is similar to a fitting process between the second piston 601 and the female rotor. A working process will be described below by taking fit between the first piston 401 and the male rotor 102 as an example.
  • In one application of the present application, the piston 401 is configured to adjust an internal volume ratio of the compressor. By opening and closing the piston 401, the auxiliary exhaust port 312 can be connected to or disconnected from the exhaust cavity 301, enabling stepped adjustment of the internal volume ratio of the compressor. When a system pressure of the compressor does not match the internal volume ratio of the compressor, the internal volume ratio may be adjusted to match the system pressure by controlling the opening and closing of the piston 401. When the piston 401 opens the auxiliary exhaust port 312, the compression accommodating cavity 105 starts to exhaust when rotating to overlap with the auxiliary exhaust port 312. To be specific, when the auxiliary exhaust port 312 is opened, the compression accommodating cavity 105 starts to exhaust before rotating to overlap with the main exhaust port 311.
  • When the auxiliary exhaust port 312 is opened, during the rotation of the male rotor 102, the compression accommodating cavity 105 will sweep across the auxiliary exhaust port 312 and exhaust. In the existing technology, the auxiliary exhaust port is usually a regular circle. When the compression accommodating cavity 105 sweeps across the auxiliary exhaust port 312, the overlapping part between the compression accommodating cavity 105 and the circular auxiliary exhaust port 312 cannot change gradually, leading to continuous changes in the internal volume ratio with the rotation of the rotor and failing to fully match the system pressure, thus causing a certain power loss.
  • In the present application, as shown in FIG. 6A to FIG. 6C, when the compression accommodating cavity 105 exactly rotates to a position in contact with the auxiliary exhaust port 312, since the shape of the first edge 351 of the auxiliary exhaust port 312 matches the profile of the teeth of the male rotor 102, the overlapping part between the auxiliary exhaust port 312 and the compression accommodating cavity 105 may change in an orderly and stable manner. To be specific, an exhaust area corresponding to the compression accommodating cavity 105 changes stably, without sudden expansion or contraction in a short time when the compression accommodating cavity 105 exactly sweeps across the auxiliary exhaust port 312, or alternating expansion and contraction. Thus, the internal volume ratio is more accurately adjusted and better matches a system condensing pressure, thereby reducing power consumption losses and improving compressor efficiency.
  • In the present application, the shape configuration of the second edge 352 and the third edge 353 of the auxiliary exhaust port 312 ensures that the auxiliary exhaust port has a sufficient exhaust area, avoiding fluctuations in the actual exhaust area when the compression accommodating cavity 105 sweeps across the auxiliary exhaust port 312.
  • FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram of an internal volume adjustment system of a compressor in the present application. As shown in FIG. 7, the compressor includes a controller 701, an actuator 702, a sensor 703, and an exhaust piston 704. The exhaust piston includes a first piston and a second piston, configured to open or close the corresponding auxiliary exhaust port. The actuator 702 is capable of driving the exhaust piston 704 to move. The sensor 703 is disposed at the suction end and the exhaust end of the compressor. The sensor 703 is configured to sense a suction pressure and an exhaust pressure of the compressor. The controller 701 can store the internal volume ratio of the compressor, receive signals of the suction pressure and the exhaust pressure of the compressor, calculate the system pressure ratio according to the suction pressure and the exhaust pressure of the compressor, and determine whether the internal volume ratio matches the system pressure ratio. If the internal volume ratio does not match the system pressure ratio, the controller 701 determines a target internal volume ratio matching the system pressure ratio, and drives the actuator 702 according to the target internal volume ratio, such that the corresponding auxiliary exhaust port 312 is opened or closed. The actuator 702 is the electromagnetic valve assembly 560.
  • FIG. 8 is a schematic block diagram of a structure of a controller shown in FIG. 7. As shown in FIG. 8, in one embodiment, the controller 701 includes a bus 800, a processor 801, an input interface 802, an output interface 803, and a memory 804 storing a control program. Various components in the controller 701, including the processor 801, the input interface 802, the output interface 803 and the memory 804, are communicatively connected to the bus 800, such that the processor 801 can control the operation of the input interface 802, the output interface 803, and the memory 804. Specifically, the memory 804 is configured to store programs (e.g., the internal volume ratio of the compressor), instructions, and data, while the processor 801 reads the programs, the instructions, and the data from the memory 804 and can write data into the memory 804. By executing the programs and the instructions read from the memory 804, the processor 801 controls the operation of the memory 804, the input interface 802, and the output interface 803. The input interface 802 is capable of converting signals received from external devices into signals recognizable and processable by the processor 801, while the output interface 803 is capable of converting signals output by the processor 801 into signals suitable for external devices. As shown in FIG. 8, a signal processing unit receives an exhaust pressure signal and a suction pressure signal from the sensor 703 through the input interface 802, converts the received exhaust pressure signal and suction pressure signal into digital signals recognizable and computable by the processor 801, and stores these digital signals in the memory 804 for subsequent processing. By executing the programs and the instructions in the memory 804, the processor 801 executes the programs to complete the adjustment of the internal volume ratio of the compressor.
  • FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram of an exhaust seat of a second embodiment of a compressor in the present application. Different from the embodiment shown in FIG. 1A, the exhaust seat of the compressor in FIG. 9 is provided with four auxiliary exhaust ports 901, 902, 903, and 904, and is correspondingly provided with pistons fitting the four auxiliary exhaust ports. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 9, stepped adjustment of the internal volume ratio of the compressor can be achieved by controlling the opening and closing of the plurality of auxiliary exhaust ports respectively.
  • In another embodiment of the present application, the number of auxiliary exhaust ports may be other values. The number of auxiliary exhaust ports is determined according to actual application conditions.
  • Although only some features of the present application are illustrated and described herein, various modifications and changes can be made by those skilled in the art. Therefore, it should be understood that the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications and changes that fall within the essential spirit of the present application.
